You are mermazing...

TGIF!

I'm back with another card that I made for the mini Summer release at Stamping Bella. This gorgeous mermaid is Uptown Girl Mermaid Queen and she is the first Uptown Girl to get the mermaid treatment. I love her big Marie Antoinette hair and ruffled tail... so much fun to color. She looks so elegant with the strands of pearls and shells draped over her outstretched arm and the matching crown of sea treasures adorning her head. I paired her with the older Under the Sea Backdrop  that I manipulated to fit the vertical card size by stamping one side first then moving the stamp to get the other side on the card, using the mermaid to hide the seam. The sentiment is from the Mermazing Sentiment set and I stamped it in brown to match the sandy bottom. The aqua, peach and pale lavender color scheme compliments her royal loveliness and the dreamy quality that I was going for.

Thanks for stopping by!
