Well hello there!
How is everyone this morning? I've got another busy day ahead of me but it's all good... nothing I can't handle. :)
It's chilly here but thankfully the snow is holding off so that makes getting to and from work a breeze. Honestly I would be perfectly happy to only get a skiff of the white stuff on Christmas eve. I doubt I'm that lucky, but a girl can dream. ;) Sheesh, all this talk of me not wanting any snow probably makes me sound kinda scroogey but I really do love the holiday season... truly!
Maybe another Christmas card will help me prove it. :)
I went ahead and used the Flutter Anya that I had started coloring for Kelly's fave hair color post over at Club Anya and turned her into a cutie sugarplum fairy. I really liked going with a very non-traditional color scheme for this card and I think it still works for Christmas.
Well I guess I should be getting ready for work now, chat with ya later! cardstock- Georgia Pacific

Good morning Amy. I love your colors on this..She is just too cute, and you would not want to have red and green for sugar plums.lol..I mean? lol...It is a cold one over her today, but I am with you. I would put up with, even welcome snow from Christmas eve till New years day and then I am ready to get on with spring and all it has to offer..lol...Talk about being a dreamer. Have a great day at work, and I really do love this little girl. She just sings Christmas.. :D Lisa G
ReplyDeleteCute card as usual. The "Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy" is my favorite part of the Nutcracker. Have you ever seen it performed? I always love your stuff. One day I hope to color as beautifully as you! I currently own one copic marker (isn't that pathetic?) and I haven't even gotten a chance to use it yet because I just had my first baby 2 months ago. Hoping to buy some more soon (maybe as a Christmas present to myself) and join the Copic revolution.
ReplyDeleteBTW, You should move to Texas. We only get snow here as a fluke! I live in Southeast Texas (Beaumont, Port Arthur area) right on the Gulf of Mexico and we MAYBE see snow once a year if we are lucky. Most years we don't see any. People put fake snow in they're yards! LOL! We're always dreaming of a white Christmas!
What a sweet card! Makes me crave gumdrops!
