Good morning!
There is still time to get in on the Sweet November September Sneaks candies... just scroll down a bit. :)
So last week Jenny of Sister Stamps, asked me if I could do a video on how I color up an image in sepia tones. I was more than happy to share my process so I decided to ink up little Kiyomi from Sister Stamp's first release to create a cool, kinda vintage looking fall scene. I altered her a bit by wiping away the butterfly she is chasing in the original image and stamping in some leaves instead. Then I also added a tree in the background to complete Kiyomi's 'home'. The video of me actually coloring her up can be seen here or on Color Me Copic. :)
When it came time to put the card all together I decided to go monochromatic with it as well. Though I couldn't resist using some sparkly glitter paper and other glittery touches to dazzle it up a bit. ;)
The mood of this card is really suiting me right now as the nights are cooling dramatically and that turn towards autumn weather has definitely arrived. Have I mentioned that fall is my favorite season lately? LOL
Ok, time for me to go get ready for work... I hope that all my US friends are enjoying the long weekend! :)
