Hey there!
So back in 2018 I got the mermaid set from Stamp Anniething and stamped them all up at that time. Not all of the images actually got colored though, including this cute Kraken, so she's been sitting on my desk just waiting all this time to get on a card. I finally grabbed her yesterday and realized that I had originally inked her up using desert sand ink for no-line coloring. It's been quite a while since I've no-lined a character so I gotta admit, I hesitated just a bit. Ultimately I buckled down and just went for it. It was a bit nerve wracking but I'm glad I did it because I think she turned out quite nicely. I then paired The Kraken with the heart shaped eel and sentiment from the Sweet November Merwees #1 set to finish off the scene with a fun nod to Ursula and her eels in the Little Mermaid cartoon. I think this fun pair are much friendlier though. ;)
Alrighty, thanks for swimming by today. Have a good one!
