Hello again!

During the morning Live I colored up the second long haired cutie from the Mermaid Hair set. I wanted to create a mini slimline card where she has swam up to the surface so you can see land above and water below. To help with that I grabbed the Dock on the Bay set and stamped the large deserted island behind the little mer after masking her off first. A couple extra sea critters from the Mermees #3 set and Merwees #2 set are joining our adventurous mermaid on her journey to the surface. The sentiment was borrowed from the small Merwee Finley set that came out last year. I did end up adding some light pinks to the fin of her tail after the video was over, to make it look like we can see her hair through it.
In the afternoon I colored up this happy little pirate mermaid named Calico. It looks like she has stumbled upon a sunken treasure chest and I kinda think it has something to do with her lucky rainbow tail we colored on her, LOL! Both the treasure chest and the skull are from the Simple Room Pirate Add On set while the sentiment and bubbles are from the Mermaid Hair set. I fell in love with this sentiment for her but since we hadn't colored on any bubbles during the Live I did end up adding some after the fact, filling them with glossy accents for a nice, shiny look.
