Hello, hello!

With a brand new release coming to the Hello Bluebird store Monday, July 10th at 7pm MST it's time for the team to start sharing previews of all the amazing new stamps and dies. Over these next three days leading up to the release you will want to check out the Hello Bluebird blog to see all of the beautiful inspiration from my fellow DT members and leave a comment each day for a chance to win one of three $50 gift certificates to the HB store. 

My card today features the new Little Hugs stamp set which is full of adorable woodland critter mamas hugging their little ones. I wanted to feature a handful of them on my card so I chose to use the square Gallery Frame #7 die that gave me four equal sized 'windows' to create miniature scenes in. After stamping and masking the bunnies, squirrels and hedgehogs I then proceeded to use parts of the older background stamps, Pathway, Country Roads and Mushroom House, to add a unique landscape behind each pair. I also used the tiny flower patch stamp from the Fairy Dance set and lily of the valley from Picked For You, as filler and extra color. Because I wanted this card to read like a story book I used the first panel as the 'title page' and stamped the sentiment there along with the little horizon stamp from the Storybook Friends set. I love how it kind of leads the viewer into the world of these darling Little Hugs critters.
