Play in the dirt...

Hey there!

It's day two of previews for the new release coming to the Hello Bluebird store on Monday, July 10th at 7pm MST. With nine new stamp sets and  five stand alone dies each preview day is sure to delight and inspire! You'll definitely want to check out the Hello Bluebird blog to see all of the amazing cards from my fellow DT members and leave a comment for a chance to win one of three $50 gift certificates to the HB store

My card today features the new Vegetable Garden stamp set, full of cute critters busily working in their vegetable patch. I stamped them onto a card front cut using the Nesting Deckle Mini Slimline die to give the scene a longer canvas. After stamping and masking all of the critters and veggies into place I added the house on the hill from the older Country Roads background stamp. Because I needed more hillside extending behind the house, I also inked up the grass line from the Storybook Friends set to complete the background. Once the scene was set, I colored everything in a bright, summer inspired palette that highlights their happy harvest.

Thanks so much for dropping by and I hope you come back tomorrow for day three of the Hello Bluebird previews.  :)
