Mornin'!
So it's back to the daily grind for me today. Unfortunately I was not a winner of the Mega Millions lotto drawing this past weekend so work I must. I guess I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed for the next one. ;)
My card is for the TGF Farm Fresh challenge to CASE one of the challenge team gals who have recently completed their term. And I knew just the card that I wanted to CASE. It was back in February when I first saw how Lisa tore the corners of her paper to reveal a second print below and, even then, I knew that I wanted to give this technique a try. So I inked up Easter Anya and altered her mouth a bit by wiping away the original open one and tracing in a more closed smile. She's colored up nice and bright to go with some more of that fun Doodlebug paper that I've been enjoying lately. I kept the over-all design pretty close to Lisa's original, though I did tend to go a bit crazier with the tearing. What can I say... I really wanted to see those jellybeans, LOL!
I also ended up doing a super quick little video tutorial on how I color grass. After posting my Masa card the other day I had several questions about it and this seemed as good a time as any to share how I go about grounding character stamps in a lush yard of green grass. You can see the video here or over on the CMC blog. :)
Alrighty then, I'm audi. Catch ya later!

Such a cute & springy card, Amy!
wahou !!! wish i could make such beautiful cards !
Hi Amy. What an honor! I think your card is adorable and if I had used this paper for that card design I am sure that I would have torn a lot in order to see those jelly beans. I told Jerry(as I got this pad in the mail Saturday. Yay!) that I am calling them Jelly Bellies as their so tiny and so cute. Anyway, I watched your video last night when I was putting my card up for today. Love it as always my friend. I didn't win any money this weekend either, so I will work while Jerry and the M&Ms play this week. lol.. Have a great day. Hugs, Lisa

Another cutie, love the torn edge look, it is a great way to get another pattern on to a card in a "casual" sort of way, TFS Donna
I have been following and learning from you for quite some time. I LOVE your coloring to the max! It is always just so amazingly gorgeous. Is there anyway you could do a tutorial for this hair color! I would LOVE to see it! :)

This is just DARLING! I'm a HUGE fan of Doodlebug stuff, so I totally LOVE everything you've been doing with these. ;) I'll have to go check out your grass tutorial because the grass I colored last week came up kind of sucky. Well, at least it looked better the grass in my yard. Must have been on the other side. hmmm...
Love the jelly bean paper...just adorable and you did Lisa proud! Thanks for playing along at TGF's Farm Fresh Challenge!
Great job on coloring an oldie but goodie! Love her colors and coloring!
