Baby, it's cold outside...

Hey, hey!

The Postage Pals: Snowmen set has been extremely popular, selling completely out a couple of times now. I'm happy to let anyone who has been waiting, know that a big restock just hit Sweet November Stamps. I made this faux post card using the cute snow couple from the set, one of the squirrels and the little bird on the branch as the faux postage stamp. I colored in the stone wall by hand to give these two cuties something to stand behind. The rest of the background was airbrushed on using the Copic airbrush system. Once again, I used the Year Round Post Marks set to add the perfect postage elements once the coloring was done. They may be cool folks but they sure melt your heart, don't they?  ;)

Thanks for stopping by!

Extra Sparkly...

Hey there!

This glowing winter night scene was colored during a past Live on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page. It was put together using stamps from the Snow Days, Front Porch Background and Front Porch Christmas Decor sets at Sweet November StampsI started by stamping the cute kiddo and masking her off before adding the decorated tree and the lawn art reindeer. Once they were masked off I stamped the Front Porch, which I shifted way too the left, leaving plenty of room for a side yard. Between the strand of colored lights, the porch light and the tree, I provided plenty of opportunities for us to practice creating different kinds of glow, which is always one of my most favorite things to color. Sure, we ran a little longer than the two hours that I try to keep the videos to but I think it was worth it.  ;)

Toodles!

Happy holidays...

Good morning!

FYI, the big Holiday Sale at Purple Onion Designs ends today. This is your last chance to enjoy 25% OFF almost everything in the store!

I revisited the Frostypine Elementary Holiday Revue collection by Holly Mabutas for my card today. This time around the Busy Beaver Snowflake Committee are getting the decorations ready before the big show. They have cut down the perfect Frostypine Tree for the Frostypine Elementary Stage and now it is time to craft some sparkling snowflakes to hang on the branches. As industrious as this trio seems to be, the auditorium will be sparkling with all of the holiday trimmings before they are done. ;)

Have a great day!

The Stockings were Hung...

Hello friends!

It's hard to believe, but we have made it to our final digi release of the year at Sweet November Stamps. We are closing out Christmas with the new The Stockings Were Hung digi release that includes four adorable children experiencing the delights of stuffed stockings on Christmas morning as well as a new Rustic Fireplace scene builder. Santa has certainly been good to Charlotte, Michael, James and Allison

On my first card we find sweet Charlotte in her nightgown, welcoming her very own little kitten to the family. The Rustic Fireplace has been decorated with festive garland from the Corner Room: Christmas Decor Add On digi set. The plush rug she is standing on is from the Corner Room and Accessories digi set. I did film the coloring of these scene and if you are interested, there is a quick Reel over on Instragram where you can watch this all come together.

Next, James is sitting on the plush rug from the Corner Room and Accessories digi set with the warmth of The Rustic Fireplace at his back. All sorts of toys and treats fill his stocking, including his very own robot.

Michael is sporting his Christmas jammies as he excitedly hugs his stocking close because he can hardly believe his eyes! Santa has brought him the best friend he could ever ask for, truly a gift that will keep on giving for many years to come.

Last, but not least, sweet Allison has been good all year long and now she can't wait to see what Santa has stuffed into her stocking.

Warm and Cozy Holiday...

Hello!

I have a new Scenic Saturday post on the Bellarific blog today. It's the holiday season and Uptown Girl Poppy Loves Gingerbread is ready to get cozy and indulge in some sweet Christmas treats.

Uptown Girl Poppy Loves Gingerbread is a girl after my own heart, spending the Christmas season in her comfiest holiday jammies every chance that she gets. She also knows that one of the best ways to keep warm on a cold winter day is by baking lots of yummy Christmas cookies. To help create a warm and inviting place for Poppy to call home, I paired her with the retired Fireplace Backdrop decorated for the holidays using the retired Little Bits Santa's Mantle set. Between the warmth of the roaring fire and that fresh baked gingerbread cookie, Poppy is feeling quite toasty. I stamped the sentiment above the fireplace and colored a decorative frame around it so that it would become part of the room's decor. Once I had that done, I masked off Poppy, the fireplace, sign and floor so that I could airbrush a coat of color on the wall before also stamping a decorative pattern onto it, making it look like wallpaper. Now if only I could join Poppy in her cozy Christmas abode for a lazy day, I would be as happy as an elf with a candy cane.  ;)

Before I go, don't miss out on the big holiday sale that is going on now in the Stamping Bella store, 10% OFF the new release and 25% OFF of the older stamps... including Uptown Girl Poppy Loves Gingerbread

Stay crafty my friends!
