Hello and welcome to the All That Scraps 6th Anniversary Blog Hop!
I am so excited that you could join us in the celebration today. If you have arrived here from Jay Jay's blog you are right on track. If not, then hop on over to the ATS blog for a complete list of participants and a place to start all the fun!
All That Scraps is such a fabulous place to find all your stamping and scrapbooking needs, it's hard to believe that six years have flown by already. You can't beat the one stop shopping experience that ATS provides with all of the fantastic stamps, paper pads and other crafting essentials that they carry. I'm so proud to be a small part of this amazing company! :)
My card today features the super cute Balloon Peep stamp by CC Designs. Not only is Christine the illustrator of this fabulous range of stamps but she is also the owner/operator of the All That Scraps store. I think that she has created such a whimsical little cutie with this Peep that I really wanted him to be the star of the show. So I went super CAS with my design, masking off the chick and then stamping the fun, multicolored 'confetti' over and around him. That way, when I peeled away the mask it looked like it was falling behind him. A bit of ribbon and some added Stickles for sparkle and Balloon Peep was ready for his party.
Now you didn't think that we would be hopping without a prize did you? Well, if you visit and leave some love at each of the blogs in the hop one lucky commenter will win a $25 gift certificate to All That Scraps!
Thanks for stopping by, Christa is your next stop on the hop... have fun! :)

It's no secret that we've got candy...
It's
a beautiful day to head back into Sweet November Land don'tcha think?
The sun is shining and there is a sense of excitement in the air that
makes the trek hard to resist. But who should we visit this time? With
so many SN friends it can be hard to choose, though something tells me
those crazy Fairwees are having all sorts of fun right now.
I don't know about you, but I'm a bit tuckered out after all the dancing in the rain we did yesterday. I could use a nice, relaxing afternoon just sitting in the flower fields of Fairwee Glen. Hopefully whichever Fairwees we run into today have the same relaxed plans in mind.
We have just settled into the tall sweet grass when a soft giggle can be heard from behind a cluster of daisies. A quick peek behind the flowers reveals wee Emaline whispering a secret to Jilly, and from the looks on their faces it is quite amusing. Having been found out, this coy pair quickly share that there is a rumor going around Sweet November Land about a large group of crazy crafters really getting down and shaking their groove thang during yesterday's rain shower. Jilly and Emaline then proceed to do their best impression of our moves and we can't help but laugh. Apparently our dancing has become the talk of the land and these two want some lessons. I guess we will have to postpone that relaxing afternoon for some other time because the candy these Fairwees are offering in exchange for another day of dancing is too good to resist. Take a look...
The Secret candy kit includes; one Sweet November Jilly and Emaline's Secret rubber stamp set, ten 6x6 sheets of My Mind's Eye My Girl paper, Prima flowers and Kaiser Craft pearls, ribbon, twine, buttons, Studio Calico wood veneer butterflies, four envelopes, four card blanks and my card.
All you have to do for a chance to win the candy is leave a comment on this post. If you link to the candy on your own blog that is great and much appreciated but not a requirement... I want everyone to be able to play along. And when I say everyone, I mean everyone. I will ship the candy anywhere in the world so everyone is encouraged to play! :)
The candy will stay open through Friday, April 5th and I will announce the winners on Saturday, March 6th.
Alrighty, it's time to skip on over to the Sweet November Gal's blog! It's no secret that Nancy has a super cute card to share! :)
Instead of using random generator I will be printing out names and tossing them in a hat SO if you leave a comment for the SN gal on her blog, you will get an extra name in the hat... this will up your chances of winning the candy... fun, fun, fun!
Well, that wraps up the Sweet November April release. Big thanks to everyone who has come to check out these newest Fairwees and show them some love! Be sure to stop by the ATS blog today for another chance to win these stamps as well as all the other new releases currently available in the ATS store. :)

Sunny with a chance of candy showers
It's

so many SN friends it can be hard to choose, though something tells me

Wow! What a treat that surprise party was yesterday. I sure hope that we have more of that to look forward to today. Unfortunately as we make our way into the Fairwee Glen a spring rain is pouring down and it is hard not to feel like a damper has been put on the day. But before we turn around and head for home a little blossom appears to be bobbing its way down the lane. Upon closer inspection that flower is actually being used as an umbrella by none other than Fairwee Josie. Despite the rain she seems to be having a wonderful time, hopping and skipping amongst the puddles. Josie insists that we join her and once we let go of our initial hesitation and start dancing in the rain the entire day brightens. I'm not sure if it is a simple turn in the weather or a bit of Fairwee magic but the skies eventually clear and we are all left a bit soaked but exuberant. The sun quickly dries us and Josie reveals a special picnic that she has put together for the occasion... complete with Fairwee candy. Check it out...
The Josie's Brella candy kit includes; one Sweet November Josie's Brella rubber stamp set, ten 6x6 sheets of Pebbles Family Ties paper, Prima flowers and Kaiser Craft pearls, ribbon, twine, buttons, Studio Calico wood veneer birds, four envelopes, four card blanks and my card.
All you have to do for a chance to win the candy is leave a comment on this post. If you link to the candy on your own blog that is great and much appreciated but not a requirement... Now fly on over to the Sweet November Gal's blog! Nancy will have you strolling through the garden come rain or shine! :)

A banner day for candy!
It's a beautiful day to head back into Sweet November Land don'tcha think? The sun is shining and there is a sense of excitement in the air that makes the trek hard to resist. But who should we visit this time? With so many SN friends it can be hard to choose, though something tells me those crazy Fairwees are having all sorts of fun right now.
As we come upon the Fairwee glen it's not hard to tell that some kind of big celebration is in the works. There are colorful banners strung from one end of the clearing to the other and there are two little fairwees busy working to hang even more. After Piper and Mia get the last one placed so that the frilly pennants dance prettily in the breeze they turn to give us a happy hello. It's like no time has passed as these two chatter away, quickly getting us caught up on all of the goings on since our last visit. When we finally get a chance to ask what all of the pretty decorations are for, Mia gives Piper a sideways glance and a giggle before they both declare in unison that it is for the celebration of our return to Sweet November Land! How they knew when to expect us can only be chalked up to their special fairwee magic. So rather than waste time trying to figure it all out, let's just settle in and enjoy the party that these two have prepared. You know they have some of the best candy around... take a look...
The Banner Day candy kit includes; one Sweet November Piper and Mia's Banner Day rubber stamp set, ten 6x6 sheets of Basic Grey Shine On paper, Prima flowers and Kaiser Craft pearls, ribbon, twine, buttons, Basic Grey flags, four envelopes, four card blanks and my card.
All you have to do for a chance to win the candy is leave a comment on this post. If you link to the candy on your own blog that is great and much appreciated but not a requirement... Happy Easter...
Happy Easter Sunday to all those celebrating!
It's been way too long since I've inked up any rubber from Sister Stamps so today I am remedying that situation with a fun little Easter card. I used just the bunnies from both the Masa and Akemi stamps because I simply adore the SS dabas. If you are familiar with the stamps, you may have noticed that the Akemi bunny is facing left instead of right on my card. I actually pulled the same stamp, flip, and trace trick that I did with the narwhal on yesterday's card. I really love how the two are interacting with each other now.
Doodlebug papers are always bright and cheery making them just the choice to pair up with these two harbingers of spring. I even fussy cut those tiny carrots out of one of the paper prints, LOL! All in all, another simple, quick and cute card that makes me smile.
And in case you missed it... Sister Stamps is currently celebrating their 12th release. I believe today is the last day to leave a comment on their blog for chances at winning the cute new stamps. I have a couple that I've had my eye on since they were peeked in December and I can't wait to get my hands on them! :)
Ok, time for me to go enjoy the day. There is no egg hunt on my schedule but I will be enjoying some delicious deviled eggs with our ham dinner tonight... yum!
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
paper- Doodlebug (Flowerbox and Hello Spring)
stamps- Sister Stamps (Masa and Akemi), Creative Cafe (sentiment), Papertrey Ink (stitches)
ink- Memento tuxedo black and rich cocoa, Versamark watermark, Colorbox creamy brown
American Crafts Zing white embossing powder
The Twinery twine
Copic markers:
E40, E81, 0, R000, R01, R02

Fintastic friends...
Olo!
Apparently there is no stopping this flood of mermaids once it has begun, LOL! Today's flippered friend is Under the Sea Mae from Some Odd Girl. I have actually had the papers pulled and Mae colored since last August but again, I never quite found the time to put it all together. I feel so happy finally getting this one finished and off my desk!
I remember that I was trying to color her tail to look shimmery and silver kinda like she hails from the cold waters of the Arctic. Then yesterday when I started to put this all together I realized that Mae needed a friend to complete the scene. I went back to the stamp set and found this cute narwhal... what a perfect Arctic friend. The only problem was that he was facing the wrong direction because I wanted him facing Mae, not away from her. It was an easy fix though, I simply stamped him up, flipped the cardstock over and placed it on my light-box. Because he isn't very intricate I could quickly trace his outline using one of my black Copic multiliner pens onto the back side of the paper. Just like that I had Mr. Narwhal facing his pal Mae and everyone was happy. :)
Alrighty then, have fun today whether you're working or enjoying the day off. I'll catch ya on the flip side!
Supply list:

Oceans of love...
TGIF!
One more day of work after this and then I've got Easter Sunday off. Not that it has been a bad week or anything, just busy. :)
So I think I opened the floodgates with yesterday's card because here I am again with yet another mermaid swimming by to say hi. This lovely Gorjuss Girl is called Awash and I got her last year just as everything began to happen with my mom. Needless to say, I never got around to inking her up last summer. And by the time I came back to card making full time it was all about Christmas cards. But she is here now and I kinda adore her. I used more of the Uncharted Waters paper pad and went with a very blue color palette this time... it just seemed to suit her.
Okey dokey, thanks for stopping by and I hope you all get some crafty time this weekend!
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
paper- Glitz (Uncharted Waters)
stamps- Santoro (Awashed Gorjuss Girl), Kraftin' Kimmie (sentiment)
ink- Memento tuxedo black, Versafine onyx black, Colorbox creamy brown
Papertrey Ink twine
Jolee's fish stickers
Kaiser Craft gems
Copic Spica glitter pens
Copic markers:
skin- E000, E00, E11, R00, R20
hair- B37, B39, BV29
tail/shell- BG70, BG72, BG75, BG57, G00, Y11, YR31, YR23, Y13
