Sea you soon...

Good morning!

Today is the last day to take advantage of Free Shipping at Colorado Craft Company. No promo code is needed, as the site will automatically apply free shipping on all US orders and International orders will get a $6.95 discount, making their shipping cost $10.00. There are also a couple fun ways to win that are still happening, the first is a chance to win the entire End of Summer Fun release and for that you just have to use a designer's affiliate link when you order and you will be entered into that give-away. Second, there is a new stamp set up for grabs at each individual designer's blog that is participating in the showcase, so the more blogs you comment on the more chances you'll have to win. These both end tonight at midnight MST time so don't wait too long to get in on the fun! All winners will be announced on the 3C blog September 13th.

I've got a quick and cute card to share today using the Beach Background stamp and the kitty from the Beach Escape set that didn't make it onto my juggling cats slimline card. Using a coordinating set of dies I was able to create a little window of a scene where I stamped the kitty in the corner catching all of the fish that are being tossed his way. The background was stamped directly onto the card base and I used a very light blue marker to color in the space between the images and then added a subtle shadow to each using a grey marker. I used foam adhesive to give the window a bit of a lift and added glossy accents to make the fish look shiny and wet and that was all it took to have a completed card.

Ok, I've gotta run... thanks for stopping by!
