Hey, hey!
Most of my spare time is going to drawing these days but I did have a bit of time to sit down at my crafty desk and make a quick card yesterday. I flipped through the stack of pre-stamped images that I keep on my desk and thought that this cutie playing in the sand would be perfect. The images are Kaumaka Sand Play and Sand Castle, both of which are retired from Sister Stamps. For some reason he wasn't stamped on a full A2 sized card front so I found an old summer themed paper pad from Echo Park to fill the bottom of the card and inspire the color palette for this fun beachy scene. I think the stripes add a bit of playfulness to the overall design and make this a nice change up from my usual go-to card layouts. In any case, it's another one out of the pile and onto a card, which is always a win. I wouldn't be surprised if a few more get colored up this week as quick is still the name of the game. ;)
Toodles!
