Hello!
I'm back with a new Scenic Saturday card to share over on the Bellariffic blog and I'm excited to be using stamps from the new Spring release that just hit the shelves yesterday. This quirky birthday card is centered around Oddball Zodiac Taurus and her symbolic bull.
Because of the size discrepancy between the girl and the bull I stamped the bull higher up on the card front. This placement forces the perspective making the bull look like he is standing further away within the scene. From there all I had to do was hand color in the grassy field that they are both standing in. Then by sketching in the tiny fence behind them both I was able to push the distance of the field back even further. If that wasn't enough, adding the trees beyond the fence in varying sizes expands the world of these Zodiac cuties one final layer. Whenever you are building a scene keep in mind that playing with the size of the elements helps add a whole lot of interest. :)
