It's Pawty Time!

I'm back with another card that I made as a guest designer for Freakin' Cute Stamps to help them celebrate their 1st birthday this month. This week our focus is on the newest sets of digis that were added to the store this month. In honor of the birthday theme, I chose to ink up the super cute birthday pup called Popito. The bone shaped balloon and sentiment are also included in the Popito set and I went ahead and layered them together so it looks like the words are printed on the balloon. I then added the gifts that come in the new Pokey set to fill out the rest of this fun scene. For the color palette I chose bright and happy colors that would work great for a little boy's birthday. I also added playful prints to the wrapping paper on the gifts for extra interest. All in all, this card is sure to bring plenty of big birthday smiles! I was quite excited to be invited as a guest designer at Freakin' Cute Stamps and help them celebrate their 1st birthday this month. Every week they are hosting an Instagram hop with chances to win prizes and there is a month long sale happening in the shop, just use the code "Birthday" for 20% OFF. With so many adorable digis having been released over this past year, today the focus is on featuring some of our favorites from those past releases. I couldn't resist printing out this sweet guitar playing snowman called Marshmallow. The Marshmallow set actually comes with the campfire and sentiment that I used here as well. With the reference to the holiday season in the sentiment I chose to color Marshmallow's clothes in traditional Christmas colors. I like to imagine that he is singing Christmas carols to all of the little woodland creates that are drawn to the warmth of his fire. I used the Ric Rac Card die and Ric Rac Frame die from Hello Bluebird to frame this cozy winter scene with a bit of pizazz.
