Hello, hello!
I'm running behind this morning so I'm posting on the fly... this Lil' Lolita has been sitting in my stack of printed stamps for a couple years now. I know, I know... shame on me! She is called Flower Girl Ivy and was originally part of a wedding themed release. All I had to do was stick a die cut egg in her hand to turn Ivy into an Easter morning cutie. I paired her up with Doodlebug Easter Parade papers because, just like my St. Pat's card, it makes for a fun and fast scene card. Putting this together I got a bit sad and nostalgic, I really miss Tickled Pink stamps. Luckily I have a great collection of Lil' Lolitas and I'm definitely going to be looking at them with new eyes to see how I can tweak them for all sorts of cards.
Ok, time for me to get a move on.
TTYL!

Mean and green...
Ok, maybe not so mean... but she did take out that evil robot from the look of things! ;)
Good morning friends!
So today is the day that the new Futuristic Lolitas and Lad digital stamps are available in the Tickled Pink store.
Yesterday was the final preview over on the Tickled Pink blog, featuring Future Christina and I didn't want to forget to add her here too... even if I am a day behind. When it came time to color up this space age girlie I thought it would be fun to change things up a bit and make her into a super cool green hued alien chick! But no worries, she still stands on the side of all that is good and right in the universe protecting her fellow humanoids from the inevitable robot uprising. LOL, there I go again... these new images have definitely been bringing out my inner sci-fi geek this past week haven't they?
Anywho, I've got a busy day ahead of me that I should go get ready for.
Hope your weekend is a total blast... off... I'm done, I'm done... I swear! :)
Supply list:
carstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
paper- October Afternoon (Rocket Age)
digital stamp- Tickled Pink (Lil Futuristic Christina)

Danger, Willow Robinson! Danger!
Salutations!
So we are rolling right along with the brand new Tickled Pink digital stamp release and this time the Lolitas and Lads have gone totally space aged! Today Willow is boldly going where no Lolita has gone before and she has brought her trusty robot sidekick along for the ride. She knows that even if you have to occasionally battle intergalactic villains that doesn't mean that you can't look good doing it. ;)
I actually ended up drawing the crater filled scene for these two 'star trekkers' to inhabit because I didn't want them to be 'lost in space'... LOL, now I am just being goofy!

Greetings earthlings!

Bright and colorful
Hiya sweeties!
Do you want to hear something kind of cool? I was in my dashboard getting ready to start this post and noticed that there were 999 posts here at A thousand sheets of paper... making this post number 1000! And 1000 posts means at least 1000 cards made... how wild is that?! It sure wasn't something that I was keeping track of or watching for but I gotta say that I'm glad I noticed this milestone before it passed... it just puts a smile on my face. :)
So, my 1000th post is for a brand new challenge over on the Tickled Pink challenge blog! This week we want to see you create bright and colorful cards. So don't be shy when choosing your papers and embellishments... the bolder the better! Just be sure to use a Tickled Pink cutie somewhere on your card or creation.
Surprise, surprise that I was right in the zone with this one. Hey, it's no secret that I love color! And because I've been wanting to transform the new Artemis Lylah into a cupid it was another Valentine's card for me. Luckily I had these new Sweet Cakes Valentine papers to pair up with her because nobody does bright and colorful quite like Doodlebug does. This gave me liberty to go bright and bold with her coloring as well... which includes Carisa's fun red hair combo. :)
Ok, now it's time for you to get creative, check out the amazing inspiration from the rest of the design team girls and play along with us this week. There is a free digi of your choice up for grabs and the winner is now selected by random generator!
Don't forget that your card must feature a Tickled Pink stamp in order to qualify for the prize... these include: Lil Lolitas and Lads, Pinkettes, Pink Pets and Cherries. All of which can be found in the Tickled Pink store.
Good luck everybody!
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It

Love to love you baby...
Hello fellow stampers!
I'm back with one final rubber stamp preview from Tickled Pink's January release. We are super excited to be kicking off the year with some fresh, new images that are different and fun! This time the Lolitas and Lads have traveled back in time to the era of the Greek Gods and Goddesses and these images designed by Christina Dee are absolutely amazing. I promise that you are going to love all six of the previews leading up to the release on January 20th (that's today for all of us here in the States).
Today Willow has become the alluring Goddess Aphrodite. Aphrodite is known as the Greek Goddess of desire, beauty, fertility, the sea, vegetation and most importantly... love. She represented the universal (and often irrational) power of love. Considering all of that love associated with this pretty miss it seemed only natural to create a Valentine with her, don'tcha think?
I kind of went a bit crazy with the frou-frou girlie goodies on this card but Aphrodite looks like she approves, LOL!
Now, as always it wouldn't be a Tickled Pink Stamps preview without a prize, so head on over to the Tickled Pink blog and leave a comment on today's post for a chance at winning your very own Willow Aphrodite digi stamp! And while you are there be sure to check out the beautiful cards that my fellow Pink Ladies have created too!
Supply list:

Aim high...
Olo!
It's time for another brand new rubber stamp preview from Tickled Pink! We are super excited to be kicking off the year with some fresh, new images that are different and fun! Today we are back to the boys and Lestat has become the radiant God Apollo! Apollo was the god of light, order, arts and muses, reason, and prophecy. He was the son of Zeus and Leto and the twin brother of Artemis. As I mentioned the other day, he is the yin to Artemis' yang and where she represents the moon, Apollo and his chariot drive the sun across the sky each day. Pretty cool, no? ;)
Take a look at that pose... doesn't he just exude a 'shoot for the stars' kind of attitude that is perfect for motivational cards?! And with some slightly different coloring and the right papers he can also work great for a very cool looking Cupid on a Valentine. Once again the Fun Day paper pad from my pal Lisa (thanks Lisa!) saved the day and pulled this card together for me. :)
Now, as always it wouldn't be a Tickled Pink Stamps preview without a prize, so head on over to the Tickled Pink blog and leave a comment on today's post for a chance at winning your very own Lestat Apollo digi stamp! October Afternoon Comet Tail Sprinklers
Pebbles glitter candy dots

Sing me a song...
Hello again!

Today we've got a bit of a gender switch-a-roo going on as Kellita is taking on the role of Orpheus. Orpheus was the son of Apollo and the Muse Calliope and while he wasn't actually a Greek God but rather a musician and a poet, it is said that Orpheus' music and song were so enticing that they could charm the very birds from the trees, soothe Cerberus and bring the Furies to tears. He was also one of Jason's Argonauts during the quest to recover the Golden Fleece.
So even if we are taking a few liberties, I think that Kellita makes for a gorgeous ancient Greek songstress. She certainly seems to have her own musical magic about her. As for my card, this was an easy one... girly and pretty with plenty of flowers and critters for her to serenade. And when paired with this sentiment I think this becomes a lovely Valentine. :)

Today it is all about the boys and Luca has transformed himself into the mighty God Zeus! Zeus was the king of the gods. The god of sky and weather, law, order, and fate. His usual attributes include a lightning bolt, royal scepter and/or eagle. This guy was was quite the play-ah and definitely had a way with the ladies, LOL! Which makes for some very interesting stories and even more interesting children... including everyone's favorite strong man, Hercules! ;)
As far as our Luca/Zeus goes though, I like him more for the energy and confidence that he seems to exude. How great is he for that motivational or job well done type of card for that special guy in your life? Which is exactly what I put together here. Guy cards can be kinda hard for me because I struggle with how to embellish them. Luckily I had just gotten this great Fun Day paper pad from my pal Lisa (thanks Lisa!) and this print totally conveyed the look I was going for with Zeus. After that I don't think it needed much else. :)

Today Lylah is taking on the role of the Goddess Artemis. She's the goddess of hunting, wilderness and wild animals. She was also a goddess of childbirth, and the protectress of girl children. Not only that but she was also the twin sister of Apollo, and where he is associated with the sun, Artemis has the moon... I always loved the yin and yang of that. :)
That is why I kept the circle framing her and the stag... kinda going for a subtle full moon effect back there. The rest of the card design also includes some tree trunks and leaves for Artemis' wilderness home. And while I like her paired with a motivational sentiment, next time I color her up I think I'll fussy cut the deer away and use her for a fun Valentine... gotta love that extra stamp versatility.
Now, as always it wouldn't be a Tickled Pink Stamps preview without a prize, so head on over to the Tickled Pink blog and leave a comment on today's post for a chance at winning your very own Lylah Artemis digi stamp! Traveling to Mount Olympus with TP...
Hello, friendly neighborhood stampers!
I know that it's been awhile but are you ready for a brand new rubber stamp release from Tickled Pink?! We are super excited to be kicking off the year with some fresh, new images that are different and fun! This time the Lolitas and Lads have traveled back in time to the era of the Greek Gods and Goddesses.
In the past I have admitted that I'm quite a nerd about certain things and the mythology of the Greek Gods is definitely one of those 'nerd areas' for me, LOL! I think I read my first stories of them back in elementary school and I have been hooked ever since. There has been so much great art created throughout history based off of the characters and stories from Mount Olympus. As well as a lot of fun pop culture takes on them as well. In fact, some of my most fave 'guilty pleasure' historical romance novels are re-imaginings of some of the Greek God tales... just check out Dazzling Brightness (Hades & Persephone), Shimmering Splendor (Eros & Psyche), Enchanted Fire (Orpheus & Eurydice), Thrice Bound (Hekate & Kabeiros) and Bull God (Dionysus & Ariadne) all by Roberta Gellis. I highly recommend them all! ;)
So anyway, you can imagine how excited I have been for this stamp release. And we are starting the whole thing off with Lilith's powerful take on the Goddess Athena. She is the goddess of wisdom and crafts, war and strategy, inventions in science, industry, art, and agriculture. She is best known as the olive-giving patron of her namesake, Athens. Not to mention that she looks just plain cool in her robes and armor, LOL! As far as cards go, I think she makes a great alternative for the traditional cap and gown type graduation cards and is fantastic for general achievement cards like this one too.
Now, as always it wouldn't be a Tickled Pink Stamps preview without a prize, so head on over to the Tickled Pink blog and leave a comment on today's post for a chance at winning your very own Lilith Athena stamp! And while you are there be sure to check out the gorgeous cards that my fellow Pink Ladies have created too! :)

I highly recommend them all! ;)

Sookie is skating onto the scene
Howdy folks!
I think that Fairy Nadine jinxed me yesterday because we got our first snow of the season. Yep, it snowed most of the day and now we have a few inches on the ground!
Ok, enough of my whining... welcome back to the fourth and final day of the mini digi only release sneak peeks over at Tickled Pink Stamps! It is a fun variety of Lolitas, Lil Little and Fairy all ready for your Christmas and winter cards. For now these will be available in digital form only and because she has been getting SO many requests from all of you TP fans, Kellie has the release available right now in the Tickled Pink Store!
I can't tell you how excited I am to have a brand new Sookie to share with you today! We haven't seen her since the Decades release oh-so long ago and I've always thought that we needed more Sookie love at Tickled Pink. So she's finally back and skating her way right into the holiday season. She is so pretty and graceful looking don'tcha think?
