Good morning!
After a break last weekend for the big release I am back on the Bellariffic blog with another scenic Saturday card to share
with you. This week I took advantage of the fact that the fun Cork
Board backdrop is the stamp of the month for July and used it to
show that not all scenes have to be vast landscapes going off into the
distance. Sometimes close, intimate vignettes can be just as fun and
effective in getting your message across. I thought
it would be a cute pairing to use Call
Me Teeny Tiny Townie in front of the Cork
Board to create a sort of home office type snapshot, don't you just
love that old rotary phone? I can still remember the wall mounted rotary
phone that used to be in my mom's kitchen when we were growing up. I
swear the cord on that phone could stretch
half way across the house! Now once Call
Me was stamped on the card stock I masked her off then repeatedly stamped and masked the little notes that come with the Cork
Board because I figured if this Teeny Tiny Townie was anything like
me she would have random notes all over the place, LOL! The board itself
was the last image to be stamped so that once all the masks were
removed it was pushed all the way to the back of
the scene, framing everything beautifully.
Before I leave you, don't forget that the new release is in the store
and you still have until the 15th to take advantage of the 15% OFF sale
that is good on everything, not just the new stamps. Which makes the
stamp of the month deal even sweeter, just use
the code NR0719 when you check out. :)

Are you ready for the fourth and final day of the Greeting Farm's July release previews? We are wrapping things up with a new clear set for all you planner peeps called, This Day. This Day includes all these great handwritten day of the week abbreviations as well as a bunch of extras and sentiments. Since I am not one who keeps a planner I used the abbreviations to create a colorful backdrop for this sweet gal from the new Miss Anya Samoyed set. By stamping the words in a variety of colors they give the card a bright and cheery vibe to go along with the positive message. :)
Ok, be sure to head on over to the TGF blog

Hello, hello!
It's day two of the Greeting Farm's July release and we are introducing another new Miss Anya set today... I just LOVE these bigger girls making a comeback! This set is called Miss Anya Samoyed and it includes two individual Miss Anyas and this sweet puppy lover with her Samoyed. I paired these two up with the Puppy Love paper and goodies from Doodlebug and pulled my Copic colors to match. The dog bed even came from the Doodlebug Odds and Ends die cut pack and I just used some blue Copics to add some dimension to it so it wouldn't look out of place and flat when compared with my colored characters. Miss Anya Samoyed
will be available for purchase on the
15th along with the other new stamp sets.
Now hop on over to the TGF blog to see all the gorgeous cards from my fellow Farmers using the new Miss Anya Samoyed set. Then I will see you tomorrow for day 3 of sneak peeks! :)

Hey there!
I'm just sneaking in real quick with one last card for the Mama Elephant Top Card Contest before the deadline tomorrow. This card primarily centers around the super cute dolphins in the Marine Friends set but I also added element in from the Mermaid Kisses and Little Mermaid Agenda sets as well. I wanted to create a scene where a child is silhouetted against those cool underwater aquarium window looking out at all the magic and wonder that the oceans are teaming with. And guess who got her sea legs for this... one of the Mermaid Kisses mermaids, LOL! I only inked her from the waist up then when I was coloring her in as a silhouette I simply gave her some legs. Her seashell top became a hand on the glass window and I stamped the smaller sea turtle into her other hand so it looks like she is carrying her favorite plushy around with her. The sentiment was borrowed from the Picnic with Friends set and I think it does a great job bringing everything together. :)
Alrighty, now back to our regularly scheduled posting, LOL!

Hello friends!
Can you believe it is time to start previews for the July release at The Greeting Farm already? We have four fabulous new stamp sets to share with you and we are starting with a very timely set called, Take a Hike. Take a Hike features an adorable mini couple enjoying the great outdoors as they hike and canoe during their summer camping trip. It also includes a bunch of great sentiments and accessory images like that cute pup running along with them. The scene for these two was a no brainer as I colored in an idyllic hillside trail for them to be exploring together. :)
Now be sure to check out the TGF blog to see all of the fun cards from my fellow Farmers using the new Take a Hike set as well as an extra card from me. Then check back tomorrow for day 2 of previews. :)

Good morning!
It's my day to post at 7 Kids and considering it has been a while since I've inked up a Picket Fence beauty I figured this was the perfect excuse to get one colored up and on a card. I debated between Beautiful Girl Kendyll and Beautiful Girl Kiki because they both look like summertime sweeties. Ultimately what gave Kendyll the edge was the drink she is sipping on as it gave me a very definitive direction to take the rest of the card. But don't feel bad for Kiki, I'm sure she will get on a card of her own before summer is out. With all those pretty flowers in her hair I imagine Kendyll as a runaway bride's maid who has skipped out on the reception for some relaxing time at the beach. And when she came across the little ice cream shop she decided to treat herself to a delicious milk shake. I don't know if her glasses where meant to be sunglasses but I colored them in that way and I think they look quite stylish. I stamped Kendyll in desert sand because I really wanted to give her blonde hair and I just always love how soft and dreamy no-line coloring is... I think it suits her. :)
Stay crafty my friends!
