Happy hump day everyone!
Wednesday means it is time for a new challenge at All That Scraps and this week we are doing early Valentine's ideas. For my sample I went with a card featuring little Cinder (it's no accident that his puffs of smoke make a heart shape). ;)
I thought it would be cool to stray away from all the pink I've been doing lately and go with a bold red/orange/ black color scheme just to be a bit different. Plus I had this great dragon scaly looking paper that I've been hoarding for years and I really wanted to pair it up with Cinder. The feather was a last minute addition and I love how it looks and that its wispy movement kind of mimics smoke but I'll be the first to admit that it may be a bit tricky to get this one into an envelope. Oh well! LOL
And even though this challenge is about early Valentine ideas, when you look at the calendar Valentine's Day really isn't all that far away so why not play along and make a card or two? Every week there is a new and exciting prize being offered and in order to be eligible to win, your project must include a stamp that is sold in the All That Scraps store.Whether it is any of our wonderful in house designs or from the various other stamp companies that ATS carries, the choice is yours. Then be sure to link up your creation with Mr Linky by next Tuesday at 10pm est and only one entry per person please!
