Enjoy your day...

Hello!

I'm up on the TGF blog and August is a special month on The Farm because it marks the 14th Anniversary of TGF. Can you believe it?! Fourteen years ago Anya and Ian made their mark on this amazing stamping community of ours with their cuteness and color-ability. At a time when coloring stamps with Copic markers was just starting to take off, these amazingly sweet images tempted many into this hobby... myself included. Over time the cast of characters that Marie created, expanded to include all sorts of different looks and attitudes, making it easy to customize our hand made cards to the loved ones we create them for.

Now if that's not something worth celebrating than I don't know what is! So starting now and going through August 7th, this exclusive Enjoy Your Day digital stamp set will be FREE to anyone who places a physical order in the store. This will be your only way to get your hands on this birthday cutie, the sentiment and two gift images that come with her.

For my card today I wanted this Enjoy Your Birthday girl to be standing on a whole heap of presents so I paired her with some previously released digis from the Birthday Party and Birthday Girls sets. I then proceeded to color everything in a pretty pastel rainbow of hues. I had fun mixing and matching simple prints on all the packages and making the balloons look like they are clear and filled with confetti. I don't know about you but I think 14 years look pretty good on this cutie.  ;)

Stay crafty my friends!

Hang in there...

Hello again!

So yesterday was the new Summer Dragons digital release at Sweet November Stamps, where we introduced four fun-loving mythical cuties to the store. I had cards made using Errol, Apalala and Froyo and had saved Leelu here for my Live coloring video over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page. I paired Leelu with the Vampire Cavern digital background because I wanted to make it look like she was napping in her secret sea cave. And even though the scene takes place in a cave I didn't want the card to be dark and spooky so I tried to keep the colors of the stones warm and inviting and the water bright and cheery. :)

We also sent out the monthly Sweet November newsletter last night and this month's Free Digi for subscribers is called Tidepool Treasure. This sweet little tot is keeping cool by exploring the rocky tide pools for whatever beachy treasures she can find. She best be careful though as I'm sure she doesn't want to feel the pinch of that crab!

Toodles!

The magic of Summer Dragons...

Hello, hello!

It's the last weekend of the month and we've finally got a new digital release at Sweet November Stamps! I promise it is well worth the wait though, not only because the release today is super fun but because all that time was spent getting the next couple clear releases ready to go and I can't wait for y'all to see what's coming. We are still a few weeks away from the big clear release though so let me introduce you instead to the Summer Dragons digis.  :)

For my first card, I colored Errol who is busy toasting his own marshmallows while a couple of ant friends over on the tree stump are helping with the rest of the s'more ingredients. You can find the short coloring reel of this card over on my Instagram or watch the longer speed coloring video over on our Sweet November Stamps YouTube channel if you're interested. :)

Next, we find Froyo who is hanging out under a shade tree, trying to enjoy a sweet and delicious ice cream cone but every time he opens his fire breathing mouth to take a lick, the ice cream immediately melts! How is a poor little dragon supposed to cool down if his treats disappear before he can eat them?

Finally, little Apalala has decided that the best way to cool down on a hot summer day is to simply jump into the closest body of water and go for a swim. For a dragon like herself, who is used to flying through the sky, coming eye to eye with a fish is a new experience.  :)

Now be sure to check out the Friends of Sweet November Stamps group on Facebook for even more Summer Dragon magic from Caitlin, Faye and Amanda, as well as our amazing guest designers, Danni Bindel and Lopez Perez Francisca. And don't forget, I will be coloring Live today at 11am PST over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page and I hope to see ya there!

You can also find us on Instagram @sweetnovemberstamps and don't forget to use the #sweetnovemberstamps any time you share a card or project using SN images so we can see all of your beautiful makes!
