Happy Halloween!

(Please be sure to scroll down for the Tickled Pink Blog Hop post, thanks!)

Talk about tricks or treats... I had a scare with a computer virus attacking me last night and I was feeling completely tricked... yikes! Luckily with a lot of help from my sisters (or the nerd herd as I like to call them, most affectionately of course) everything seems to be running ok now... knock on wood!

Still, I wanted to wish you all a HAPPY HALLOWEEN with one last spooky card before I jump head first into Christmas. I've got big plans that include pumpkin carving and frightening small children when they come knocking on the door for candy, LOL! Good times... ;)

Oh and there is still time to get in on the Darby and Penelope candy before I announce the winners tomorrow morning... check it out here!

Tickled Pink birthday blog hop!

Hello and welcome to the Tickled Pink Stamps Birthday Blog Hop!

What a month of previews, releases and giveaways Tickled Pink Stamps has had and now to top it all off we have a blog hop to go out with a BANG! :)

To join the Pink Party of the year all you have to do is start at Kellie's blog. And why is this hop not to be missed? There is a major prize at the wind down of the party, by hopping along you have a chance to win EVERY stamp released during the month of October... that is over 15 stamps, including all the images and sentiments from the first release! If they come in rubber and you want rubber over digi, then you can have rubber. If they only came out in digi then digi it is, it's all up to you and your liking. AND want to know something else? There are also hidden candies hiding within the hop.

If you have come here from Kellie's then you're on the right party line...

My card today uses the hunky Luca once again and you know how I said the Lil Lolitas were all vying for his attention? Well, it looks like miss Ivy has won the day and the guy! Don't they make a cute couple with both of their little top hats? LOL! I used the digi versions of both so I could scale Ivy down a bit and flip the direction she was facing then printed them both out together. Alrighty, I won't keep you any longer... time now to hop on over to Angela's blog.

Thank you so much for joining the Tickled Pink Stamps hop and have FUN! :)

Halloween cupcakes

Good Friday morning to you my friends!

It is cold and rainy and I'm kinda draggin' as I'm getting ready for work. I hope your end of the week is off to a better start. :)
So no card today, instead I've got these cupcakes that I did for the last minute Halloween packaging challenge over on the ATS blog this week. They went up there on Wednesday but I'm just now getting around to sharing them here. A little secret between you and me... the cupcake topper idea was all a ruse to get my sister to bake me some cupcakes! At first she was going to make some chocolate ones with colored frosting so it would look like grass but in order to get my favorites made (white cake with chocolate frosting) I had to convince her that Pumpkin Baby would be sitting in the dirt of the pumpkin patch so the ground would need to be brown. As you can see I won out and the cupcakes were delish! LOL

There is still plenty of time for you to join the fun and get a chance at winning the fabulous prize this week so be sure to check out all the deets here.

See ya sweeties! Supply list:
Copic X-Press It cardstock
Sweet November (Pumpkin Baby digi stamp)
CC Designs pumpkin stamps
Memento tuxedo black ink
Copic markers: (sorry, I lost my list for these)

Birthday Luca!

Hey there!

Welcome back for another day of Tickled Pink preview fun!
This time we are really switching gears and bringing you not another Lil Lolita but a new Lil Lad instead! This suave and dapper li'l dude is Luca and I think he is intent on stealing some attention away from his friend Frankie because the Lolita gals are going nuts over him! Which one of the girls he is bringing that bouquet too is yet to be seen... I just hope a cat fight doesn't break out! LOL

Luca will be available in digi (for sure) and (maybe even in) rubber at the Tickled Pink store beginning this Saturday but if you want a chance to win him before then all you have to do is leave a comment on the Tickled Pink blog. BUT if you want a chance to win the whole set on release day then leave a comment here and on all of the participating Pink Ladies, Pink Spotlight, Pink Celebrity and Pink Party Guests blogs... WOW that is a lot of PINK but so worth it! :)

Have fun enjoying the Lil Lad eye candy! ;)

Birthday Kellita!

Good mornin' friends, so did you do the time warp again last night? LOL!
To be honest, I think I built the anticipation for this episode up so much that it fell a bit short of my expectations. Don't get me wrong, it was a fun watch... I just wanted more Rocky Horror than I'm sure they could ever get away with doing on tv. ;)

The month long birthday celebration at Tickled Pink is still going strong and today I've got a new Lil Lolita to share with you. I'm tellin' ya already... she is fabulous! :)
This is Birthday Kellita and she will be available in digi and rubber at the Tickled Pink store beginning Saturday! I think this li'l gal is so dreamy looking and she's got that whole retro fabulous vibe that she's rockin' I couldn't resist pairing her up with this Basic Grey paper (which is actually another paper pack cover sheet that I finally put to use... woot, woot!). I think it has that same retro fab vibe that Kellita has, wouldn't you say? If you are lovin' this new cutie, Kellie has a chance to win both Kellita and her friend, who is debuting tomorrow, simply by commenting over on the TP blog. So don't miss out on that!

My card is also for this week's Lil Lolita Boutique challenge which is to make a birthday card. Talk about easy peasy! As always there is a chance at winning a fab prize from the Tickled Pink store if you play along so come on! Join the fun! :)

See ya all tomorrow with more TP goodness!

Darby sneaks and candy!

Hello!

Welcome back to day 2 of our Sweet November sneak peeks! Today it's time to say 'hello' to Darby and her friend Pudge. Darby loves playing outside in the snow... depending on the day you can find her sledding, skiing, ice skating, or building snow sprites, you name it! Pudge on the other hand would rather spend his time cheering Darby on from the comfort and safety of a nearby branch. And once the sun begins to set on another day of play they both head over to Penelope's place for some of that fantastic hot chocolate of hers! ;)

Now it's time to take a look-see at the candy... Darby's candy kit includes; one Sweet November Darby and Pudge rubber stamp, ten 6x6 sheets of We R Memory keepers papers, one mini Basic Grey Christmas clear stamp set, Prima flowers and e.line pearls and gems, ribbon, lace and ric rac, buttons, four envelopes, four card blanks and my card.

All you have to do for a chance to win this candy is leave a comment on this post. If you link to this candy on your own blog that is great and much appreciated but not a requirement... I want everyone to be able to play along. And when I say everyone, I mean everyone. I will ship the candy anywhere in the world so everyone is encouraged to play! :)

The candies will stay open through Sunday, October 31st and I will announce the randomly generated winners on Monday, November 1st. Which just so happens to be the official release date for all of November's new stamps over at ATS!

That's all I've got for peeks right now but like I said yesterday... check back in a couple weeks for Sweet November's 1st birthday celebration, it's gonna be a blast! Are you ready for some sneak peek candy?

Hello, hello!

I forgot to mention yesterday that I have a couple new Sweet November sneak peeks to share with you so we'll call this a fun little surprise! ;)

This November's release is a bit on the smallish side but that's only because we've got some SN birthday fun to celebrate a few weeks from now so be on the lookout for that... hint, hint, wink, wink!
Until then, let's see what Penelope Sprite is up to during the colder winter months in Sweet November Land. It looks like she is all bundled up and ready for a walk through the ice frosted gardens and she has got her little birdie pal, Juniper to keep her company. They like to sing carols together as they stroll and flit along, their voices clear as silver bells. And when the snow begins to fall, the two make their way back to Penelope's mushroom cottage to warm their toes by the fire and sip some of her prize winning hot chocolate. :)

And of course I've got some candy for you too... take a look! Penelope's candy kit includes; one Sweet November Penelope and Juniper rubber stamp, ten 6x6 sheets of We R Memory keepers papers, one mini Basic Grey Christmas clear stamp set, Prima flowers and e.line pearls and gems, ribbon, lace and ric rac, buttons, four envelopes, four card blanks and my card.

Well that's all for day 1 of 2 Sweet November sneak peeks... to see even more Penelope cuteness just hop on over to the wonderful Sweet November Gals' blogs...Traci and Rachel. They will have you thinking warm and cozy thoughts with their beautiful creations!

Then be sure to check back tomorrow for some winter Darby sneaks. :)

Sunday Sweetness

Ahhhhhhh... finally! A day to sit back, relax and just chill... sweeeeet...

The weather also seems to be cooperating with my "take it easy" attitude by being a bit grey and wet so there is nothing for me to do except stay inside and play. ;)

I've actually had this beautiful Marie Antoinette stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie's for quite some time but it took getting this new Sweetness paper pad for me to actually ink her up. I just thought that cool floral print was so Rococo looking and a perfect match for her. I replaced the kinda scary looking crow like bird that came with her for this cute little bird that came with one of my Pergamano Fairy sets... it had that sweet look that I was going for on this card. I also covered her whole dress with clear Spica glitter pen but no luck in getting it to show up in the pic... such is life. Oh and I used some more of Kiara's yummy crinkled ribbon... can't get enough of it! All in all I think this card shows that sometimes you just need to go all out girly and pretty and you can never have enough pink! LOL

Real quick before I take off... be sure to hop on over to the Color Me Copic blog if you haven't already. There is a brand new video tutorial from the fabulous Kelly Booth and it is all about how she gets her perfectly pretty make-up on her stamped girlies... LOVE it! :)

Smooches!

Bountiful blessings

Hello friends!

One more day of work and then a couple days off... yeah!
In the meantime though I'm running a bit behind so I'll have to keep today's post nice and short. This is a just-for-fun card that I made using the cute little squirrels from the Forest Friends set at TGF. It's an oldie but a goodie and actually, I think I've probably used this particular stamp more times than any other that I own... crazy right?!
This time I paired them up with these cool fall looking papers and stickers from Reminisce and on the inside of the card I've included the sentiment, "Wishing you bountiful blessings" since it looks like these guys have found the mother of all acorns, LOL!

Ok, I'm off like a cheap suit... later! :)
Supply list:

More Cherrie goodness

Good morning!

Guess who got herself the Rocky Horror Glee Show CD yesterday? LOL, yep that would be me! I've been waiting and waiting for a Season 2 vol. 1 type of CD but so far this season no such luck. I've been keeping track and there have been 25 songs sung... enough to fill 2 CDs and yet there's been nuthin'! I know that I can download songs and I will if I have to but I like having the CDs for when I'm driving in the car. Any fellow Gleeks have the 411 on this? 'Dammit, Janet' I wanna get my Glee on! :)

Ok, ok time for some card chatter... I made this for the Birthday Cherrie preview over on the Tickled Pink blog a couple days ago but I'm just now getting around to posting her here. I'm pretty sure she is available in the Tickled Pink store as a digi now and very soon she will be available in rubber as well. Christine really did a fantastic job in creating these little sweeties for Kellie... they are just too adorable!
And I'm proud to say that I used up another packaging strip from the cover of a My Mind's Eye paper pack on this. I can never bring myself to throw these away when the little strips of each pattern make for such quick and easy backgrounds on my cards. Still, it can feel a bit cray-cray holding onto/ hoarding them... LOL!

Well, I'm outta here, gotta go get ready for work. Enjoy your Friday everyone!

Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It

Well we are rolling right along with the month long birthday celebration over at Tickled Pink and today is the second preview of the super cute new image drawn exclusively for Tickled Pink Stamps by the talented Christine of C.C Designs. Cherrie will be available in digi beginning this Saturday and we are just waiting for the rubber stamps to hit the shelves once they cross the big blue ocean... hopefully not too much longer!

And you know Kellie has a fab prize up for grabs... it just wouldn't be a Tickled Pink Stamps release without a prize now would it? As always if you want a chance to win this little "cherrie" pie all you have to do is leave a comment over on the TP blog BUT if you want a chance to win the whole set on release day then leave a comment here and on all the participating Pink Ladies, Pink Spotlight, Pink Celebrity and Pink Party Guests... Who goes there?

Sooo... how big a bummer was it not to have a new episode of Glee to watch last night? I know, right?!
The only thing that lifted my spirits was seeing the previews for next week's big Rocky Horror Halloween special... now that looks FUN! It's not like I'm a huge RHPS fan who goes to sing-a-long viewings or anything but I really can't wait to see what the Glee cast does with it!

Speaking of Halloween... I've got another Halloween card for the new Lil Lolita Boutique challenge this week. We've got a sketch for you again and it's a great one! I decided to blow Vampire Lilith up to 'big head' size but I left her tall and narrow because I wanted her to look like she is opening the front door of her haunted castle. I even used a wood grain background stamp to make the doors look 'authentic' and used the brads as doorknobs. The little doorknocker is some crazy embellishment that I'm sure I got as a freebie in an order years ago and now I'm glad I hung onto it. LOL!
I know it looks a bit plain compared to my usual cards but I had a vision of this scene and I didn't want too much to get in the way of that. I mean, can't you just hear her saying "Velcome..." in a low sexy voice? ;)

Well I hope you get a chance to play along in all the fun at LLB this week, as always Kellie has a great prize from the Tickled Pink store up for grabs. So pull out that Lil Lolita stamp or digi and get crackin'! Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It

Dragonflies and fairies

Hiya friends!

It's back to work for me but I'm feeling refreshed and ready to take on a new week so it's all good. :)

I watched How to Train Your Dragon for the first time yesterday and I'm not ashamed to say that it made it into my top five fave animated features... LOVED it! Great story and awesome visuals made for a fantastic show and it totally has me obsessing a bit about dragons now... I wonder if Sweet November Land needs some resident dragons? Hmmmmm... LOL!

Until that time I guess dragonflies will just have to be a substitute, like on my card today. ;)
I made this with the Flutter By challenge in mind. The theme this week is fall and I had these paper scraps that needed using up which I think are perfectly fall looking. I paired them up with a Pergamano Summer Fairy since I thought the mushroom was very fallish and she could be too just by coloring her in the right colors. Once again I punched the dragonflies out of both vellum and pattern paper, snipped the wings off of the pattern paper ones leaving only their bodies to then glue onto the vellum. I like how this double punching makes the dragonflies look more realistic with the see-through wings and it is so easy to do.

I guess I should go look for a dragon to train... it would be cool to get to fly into work. Talk about a time saving commute! LOL :)

Still lounging

Greetings and salutations!

Well I managed to get all of my chores done yesterday so I have all day today to do whatever I feel like... sweet! You know I'm going to make some time for a bit of crafting, it's been days since I've made a card and I think I'm having withdrawals, LOL! ;)

So this is the third and final card in my little note set using the Making Memories journaling notebook and the Miss Anya Lounge cuties from TGF. I actually used this little gal as-is... no altering done on this one. And I know that hanging out with a couple of dancing owls seems like a strange and surreal dream or something but hey, they're cute! :)

Alright I'm going to make this short and sweet so that I can get into the crafty room... hope your Monday is off to a great start!

Second verse, same as the first...

Gooooooood morning!

Finally, a couple of days off for me and I am happy as can be about that! No big plans except I do have to do some cleaning around here and not the fun crafty room kind either, but it's all good. ;)

So this is the second card in my set of three that I made using different pages from the Making Memories journaling notebook and altering my TGF Miss Anya Lounge set. To create this little gal I swapped heads with one of the Miss Anya Love girls. I think the ponytails are a fun match with this outfit and I can just imagine her going off on a study date looking all cute and casual at the same time. Looks like she spends more time doodling in her notebooks rather than actually taking notes though... LOL!

Ok, I'm gonna wrap things up for today. I'll catch ya on the flip side. :)

Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It

Hey, hey, hey!

It's looking to be another beautiful fall day here and I am totally lovin' it! I got the chance to sit in the park for a bit the other afternoon... the sun was shining and the light was bouncing off the lake so that all the trees along the bank seemed to be dancing with this cool shimmery effect on their orange and yellow leaves. I can't help myself, it is times like that when I can imagine a bit of fairy magic at play in this modern world we live in. ;)
It's not looking like I'll actually get to go out and enjoy anything like that today because the sun is already starting to set by the time I get off of work and when it does it gets chilly... fast! But that's ok, I just have a feeling this is going to be a really good day.

My card today is actually the first of three in a coordinating set that I made using a Making Memories journaling notebook and my new Miss Anya Lounge set from TGF. Well, not just the Lounge set because as you can see I did a bit of head swapping and actually have L8R SK8R Anya's head on this one... I just thought it was a cool looking combination. :)
Something about this Lounge set has me reminiscing about hanging out in the dorms in college so it's not really a wonder that I've geared the card towards the younger gals/teens. This isn't to say that I still can't slack with the best of them in my layered tees and sweats, LOL!

Anywho, have a good one and I'll see ya in 24. :)

All about the treat

Good morning!

I'd say TGIF but considering that I'm working both today and tomorrow it doesn't really feel like a true TGIF vibe in my little world. LOL! ;)

I've got another Halloween card to share today but it is definitely on the more cute side of the holiday than some of my other cards have been. I used the adorable Higgelty Witch from Tiddly Inks because she just makes me smile. Probably because I can remember so many different years of dressing up as a witch throughout my childhood... from sweet and cute when I was little to scary and menacing when I was a teen. Heck, I still have a pretty rockin' witches hat, complete with dangling spiders, that I wear when I'm handing out candy on the big night! Good times... good times... :)

And because this week's Tiddly Inks challenge is "Anything Halloween" I'm going to be entering Higgelty into the fun! It's been awhile since I've had time to play along but I always enjoy it when I do.

Alrighty, time for me to go get ready for the day. Hope yours is a great one!

Hocus Pocus

Hey there!

Ok, so your going to have to put up with a little Glee chatter from me since I didn't have time yesterday... ;)
Even though I missed the Puckasaurous it was fun to hear more from the new Sam kid. At first I wasn't sure about him but I love how goofy they have made him. When he spoke Na'vi to Quinn I totally cracked up! And I'm diggin' the Jason Mraz type vibe that his songs have all had going on, definitely something that's been missing in the group. Oh and I loved the duet between Rachel and Kurt at the end... what can I say but awesome! :)

Now onto this week's Lil Lolita Boutique challenge and this one is all about using skulls on your card. It can be one or many, on the image, on the paper or as an embellishment... totally up to you. And with the new Lil Haunts digis now available it's the perfect excuse to get a little macabre on your card.
I decided to give Ghost Willow the 'big head' treatment and color her up to look more like a sorceress this time around. And I paired her up with the new Pink Paislee Hocus Pocus paper that is very cool... one of the sheets looks like a Ouija board and I was bummed I couldn't make it work for this one but that just means the wheels are turning for another card, LOL!
And once again I've used another of the Making Memories skully flowers. Sure they are a bit bulky but I love them and my goal is to use up the entire pack of six before Halloween... I'm half way there! ;)

Now I want to see you get your LLB groove on and join the fun. Kellie has your choice of three Tickled Pink digis up for grabs as the prize this week so that is a pretty fun incentive don'tcha think?!

Wednesday challenge time again

Hidee ho neighboreenos!

So, shocking news... I've got no card to share with you today. But that's only because the challenge over at ATS this week is to create Fall Decor items. Needless to say I am not a big alterer so it's not super exciting or anything but I did make a little wrap around for one of the yummy, scented candles that I enjoy burning this time of year. I stamped up Swiss Pixie Fall Birgitta and then stamped again on either side of the main image. I then took a Copic black multiliner pen to draw in planks connecting the fences to create one long continuous fence that I could wrap around the candle jar. Because I was planning on cutting the whole thing out I didn't worry about wiping Birgitta away on the extra fences... with a simple snip, snip only one Birgitta was left sitting. :)

Color, color, color... cut, cut, cut... wraaaap and done!

It may be easy but I think it is still pretty cute. ;)
Ok, your turn to play along... remember, every week there is a new and exciting prize being offered and in order to be eligible to win, your card must include a stamp that is sold in the All That Scraps store. Whether it is any of our wonderful in house designs or from the various other stamp companies that ATS carries, the choice is yours. Then be sure to link up your creation with Mr Linky by next Tuesday at 10pm est and only one entry per person please!

Stay classy San Diego! :) Supply list:

Falling for Fall

Howdy folks, I hope your day is off to a lovely start. :)

Even though these past few days have been kind of grey and rainy I still love this time of year. The nip in the air, the falling leaves, that golden light as afternoon quickly gives way to evening... it's all magical if you ask me. I think that was the inspiration behind my card for today. I love how that October Afternoon paper looks like Miss Anya is out for an afternoon stroll through the neighborhood.

Because she is a digi I actually printed her out smaller than her usual size to better fit scale wise with the pattern on the narrow card. It also made coloring her up a bit quicker too. All in all a pretty quick and easy card. ;)

So my fellow Gleeks... who's excited for duets night?! Me, me, me! The music has been SO good so far this season and I'm excited to hear the new guy sing again too. Should be a good one and I'm hoping my work day goes by quickly so I can get my Glee on, LOL!

Check ya later!
