Hello friend...

TGIF my friends!

Did you enjoy all of the ATS previews this past week? There certainly is plenty there to get you thinking about spring. :)

I made this card for the CC Designs preview of Potted Lucy but didn't get around to posting it here until today. I wanted to make her bright and colorful just like the flower on her head so Doodlebug was a natural choice for my papers. I colored her hair up in a more vibrant orange than I normally use for hair because I wanted it to look like it was an extension of the blossom hat. For the rest of the scene I used the Four Seasons tree die to cut out some kraft cardstock and stamped it with a wood grain background. Once I had that made Lucy needed a couple of feathered friends to keep her company. All in all I think this is a happy card.

Well, I should really get myself together for the day.
I'll catch ya on the flip side!

Oooo! You used my favorite paper! Don't those flowers just make you happy when you look at them? I adore this card! So cheerful and bright! Potted Lucy looks right at home among the blooms!

Amy this is so DARN ADORABLE! Oh I want to win the lottery as I now want both of those stamps and the stamp set as well as that tree. Of course mine would not come out half as adorable as yours, but still. :O) I love your coloring as always and I so LOVE how you color your pots. When you get the chance to make a video on how you color the jeans can you show me how to make those gorgeous blue birds? lol... LOVE THIS! Have a wonderful Friday. Hugs, Lisa

I love this bright floral paper background and how you stamped the woodgrain stamp on the tree. But my favorite: Are the perfectly colored birdies and her bright orange hair!
