Hello crafty friends!
It's Tuesday and that means I have a new card that I've made for 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store. This week I decided to take a Christmas stamp and do a tiny bit of altering to make her work on cards all year long. This pensive looking little sweetie is called Oh Deer! and she is from LDRS Creative. Those eyes... that face... who could resist such a doll? Now like I mentioned, Oh Deer! was part of a winter release last year and the original image has her wearing reindeer antlers on her head but by wiping the ink off the antlers with a baby wipe before stamping she became a simple, shy girl that I could work into any number of card designs. This time around I paired her with a fun introvert themed stamp that suited her perfectly since she looks like she wants to pull that turtle neck sweater up over her head and hide any moment now, LOL! So there you have it... a simple and easy trick to stretch the use of your stamp collection, which is always a good thing. ;)
Oh and don't forget that there is still time to enter this month's challenge over on the 7 Kids blog. Kelly has an awesome $20 gift certificate up for grabs and you could be the lucky winner!
