Fairy wishes...

I'm channeling more spring time vibes with this magical Purple Onion Designs card today. To be honest, I really don't have a whole lot of spring images from POD in my crafty stash... a situation I'm determined to remedy very soon. But in the meantime I pulled together Goldie Fairy and little Gracie bird for this CAS card. The Large Floral Wreath is a quick and easy way to add that spring look and I had fun turning the Birch House into a bird house hanging behind them. I kept all of my coloring contained within the wreath, with the exception of the little drop shadows added behind some of the leaves and flowers. It's a simple touch but adds a lot of dimension and interest to this simple design. I also added the little bow "holding" the bird house and some Nuvo glitter drops as pixie dust being sprinkled by Goldie. Another simple way to add that desired spring look was sticking with a very light and pastel color palette.    :)
