Fun in the sun...

Hello there!

Here's another card that I made during a Live video over my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page a couple weeks ago. This entire scene was put together using the new Water Park Party set at Sweet November Stamps. This time around I stamped two kiddos onto the same slide, doubling the fun that they are having. We also went over various techniques, like adding the water to the slide, creating the decorative hedge of bushes in the background and getting more practice coloring pool water. All of the suggestions from my fellow crafters came together beautifully to create this sunny card full of smiles and laughter.  :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Message in a bottle...

Hey, hey!

I've got one last pirate themed card to share from the Summertime Adventures release weekend of Lives over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page. During this coloring session we brought to life a fun scene of a pirate and mermaid resting on the beach. Both characters are from the A Wee Bit of Piracy set and most of the background came together using the Yo Ho Ho Background Builder set. During the Live I did end up stamping in the pirate ship silhouette from the older Ocean Beach Horizon Lines to add a bit more to the story. I also had used a postage frame die so that once everything was colored I could make the card look like an oversized postage stamp. This gave me the perfect opportunity to also pull out the new Fantasy Post Marks for a special finishing touch. :)

Toodles!
