It's a good day...

Hey friends! 

This cute card actually kicked off our release weekend marathon of Lives over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page during the Summertime Adventures clear stamp release at Sweet November Stamps last month. The pool scene was put together using stamps from the Sunny Smiles and Water Park Party sets and how can you not love that little dog-paddling pup?! You can see all of the various pattern coloring we did, from the reflective pool water to the difference between the river rocks and the smooth granite. We also played with creating the reflective shine of the plastic pool tube. Such a variety of coloring techniques in a relatively short amount of time. After the Live I completed the card using a sentiment from the older Fairwee Summer Picnic Expansion set and a sprinkling of glitter enamel dots to match the bright colors in the scene.  :)
