Nerdy Bird

Hola amigas!

My blogging buddy Berenice has taken on a whole new adventure by starting up her very own digi stamp store called Karber Digital Images! These sweet digis have a totally kawaii look to them and little Thinker Leslie, with her cute pigtails and glasses, was a lot of fun to color up. :)
As soon as I printed Leslie off she brought to mind this great Nerdy Bird paper from Sassafras... I think the pairing is a match made in heaven, LOL! I even cut up the cover of the paper pad to get the "nerdy bird" for my sentiment. And as an added bonus, because of that cute little bespeckled birdie friend of Leslie's I can join in with this week's Pet themed challenge over at Lollipop Crafts... love it when that happens!

Oh baby blog hop!

I'm thrilled to be a part of this very special surprise baby shower blog hop that Kim organized for our dear blogging friend Kris, who may in fact be welcoming her new little guy into the world right now... how exciting! :)

It was fun to finally have an excuse to make a baby card so I went all out with some of the papers, stamps and embellies that I've been collecting for just such an ocassion. Isn't this Lili of the Valley baby absolutely adorable? I'm tellin' you it was love at first sight for me with this stamp... boy, girl... it can go either way and still be perfect. :)

A sweet new challenge

Howdy folks!

Have you heard about the new Lollipop Crafts challenge blog? Their first challenge went up yesterday with an "anything goes" theme and I just had to play along! So I quickly put together this card using Miss Match Ketto and I even drew her a lollipop in honor of this being for Lollipop's first challenge. :)

Kris and Kim are such talented gals with a great group of ladies on their dt and I wish them all the best on this new venture with many more fabulous challenges to follow! So if you've got time to play along this week I'm sure the Lollipop Girls would love to have you join the fun... and there is even a prize up for grabs which always makes for some great incentive to get creative. :)
