Hello, hello!
Can you believe this sweet, simple card featuring one of the little Anyas from the Mega Mini Amazing set has been sitting on my hard drive ever since we did previews a couple months ago? I spotted it the other day when I was doing a computer clean up and I'm just shaking my head at myself. So here she is in all her pink prettiness to say hello and thanks. The sentiment is also from The Greeting Farm and I just stamped the line repeatedly after inking in a slightly darker pink box to ground and group everything together. The 'thanks' is a coordinating TGF die, making this card very quick to complete.
Ok, gotta go meet my sis for breakfast. TTYL! :)

Shine brighter...
Mornin' crafty friends!
Last week I was introduced to a new-to-me digi shop through the Markers! Papers! Digis! Facebook group. The East Wind is a little shop full of lovely ladies to color up and this beauty is actually the August newsletter freebie called Aurora Marilyn. I totally love her big, beautiful eyes and up swept hair do. The East Wind also runs a challenge and the current theme is "out of this world". As soon as I saw that, I could just picture Aurora Marilyn as an interstellar princess traveling across the galaxy. So before coloring her up in all her silvery glory I masked Aurora off and used a bunch of Distress Inks and a white Mr Huey mist to create the starry sky behind her. Then I inked up this cool banner sentiment to tie the whole card together, the blue looks a bit jarring in my photo for some reason but it is a much better match to the background in person.
Okey dokey, thanks for stopping by. I'll catch ya on the flip side! :)
Supply list:
cardstock- Papertrey Ink stamper's select
digital stamp- The East Wind (Aurora Marilyn)

Happy Birthday...
TGIF!
Another Friday and I've gotten another card made for the Bellarific challenge. This week's theme is, "sequins, buttons and dots" and considering I've got a pretty good stash of all three I had to give it a go. Now recently I've been creating a lot more cards with colored backgrounds or watercolors rather than relying on my beloved stash of pattern papers but yesterday I really wanted to cut into some pretty papers again. So I grabbed the Cake Walk paper pad from October Afternoon and had a lot of fun layering and grabbing ribbons, buttons and dies. I wanted to keep the card an A2 size so I decided to do a bit of altering to the cute Tiny Townies Birthday Party stamp by not inking up two of the girls and drawing in the little bit of missing skirt and balloon. This easy change opened up a lot more space for all the fun goodies I wanted to use on the card as well... plus this single birthday girl is still pretty darn adorable.
Alrighty folks, enjoy this wonderful weekend!

Here for you...
Olo!
I was checking out the MFT challenge blog yesterday and was inspired by this week's sketch challenge to whip together a quick card. It's the perfect excuse to grab another cute critter stamp set and finally get them inked up so this time around I went with the Adorable Elephants. Once I settled on this sweet pachyderm with his trunk up in the air I had to flip the sketch to make it work with the way he's facing. For the window element of the sketch I chose the peek-a-boo wonky window die because I really love the playful element that it adds to a card design. All in all, I'm super happy with how this all came together. :)
Later gators!
Supply list:
cardstock- Papertrey Ink
paper- K&Co
stamps- My Favorite Things (Adorable Elephants set)
ink- Memento tuxedo black and Tim Holtz Distress tumbled glass

Kaiser Craft gems
Lawn Fawn stitched hills die
Copic markers:
elephant- N0, N1, N2, N3, R00, R30
butterflies- Y11, Y15, Y17

You brighten my days...
Mornin' friends!
I know that I've colored up this lovely Poppy digi from Tiddly Inks before but it's been a couple years at least so she's practically new again, LOL! This time I've paired her up with this lovely floral paper from the Bo Bunny Butterfly Kisses paper pad which totally inspired the soft blue flower she's holding along with the rest of the Copic colors used to color her up. The floral paper is so classically pretty that I went with a fairly traditional layout design that would allow it and Poppy to shine. Though I do think I went a bit outside the box by stamping the sentiment right over the main image... what a rebel I am, LOL! ;)
Alrighty then, thanks so much for stopping by!

Seriously? Seriously...
Hey there!
The Super Secret Stamp Club stamp from June was still sitting on my desk and I figured it was time to get her on a card before August's shows up in the mailbox. This little beauty is Creeper Sass and she looks like she is telling me it was about time she got all colored up. I paired Sass up with this bright abstract paper from from the Happy Place paper pad and borrowed all the colors for her stylin' outfit from it. The sentiment was me channeling Meredith Grey from Grey's Anatomy. I gotta admit that I find myself saying, "Seriously? Seriously?" more often than I would think. ;)
Have a good one everybody!
Supply list:
cardstock- Papertrey Ink and Copic X-Press It
paper- Dear Lizzy (Happy Place)
stamps- The Greeting Farm (SSSC Creeper Sass), Studio Calico (sentiment)
ink- Memento tuxedo black, Studio Calico lime light and buttercup
Doodlebug Sprinkles
Papertrey Ink swirl die

Fur-ever friends...
Hi!
It's August 1st and that means today is all about a brand new Farm Fresh Challenge at The Greeting Farm! As you know, a new challenge is issued at the beginning of every month over on the TGF blog and this time around it is... 'Friendship'. Friendship day is August 7th so this is the perfect time to create some cards for those special people that we are lucky enough to invite into our lives. There are so many great images in the TGF store that work with this theme so get creative and show us your best friendship themed cards... playing along just might win you a $50 gift certificate!
For my card I grabbed the darling Furever clear set, which I swear I thought I just saw in the store but now it appears to be sold out. Anywho, I inked up this super happy pair of fur-ever friends and gave them a homey little living room to hang out in. I can just picture these two lounging the day away, snuggling in that chair purrrrrrfectly content and happy in each others company. :)
Alrighty friends, have fun with this one. I can't wait to see what you create!
