Joy and Cheer

Hi guys,

I wanted to jump in here with a quick update as well as this week's review preview card. :)
Well, my mom is still in the hospital over in Seattle. She is doing pretty good and the newest report is that both of the drains that she has had in her for months may finally be coming out next week. This is a huge step if it happens because it will be so much easier for both her and me when she comes back home. One less thing to worry about and take care of during the rest of her healing process so fingers are definitely crossed. She is so bored over there and ready to come back home for good and I've gotta think that the possibility of that happening can't be too far away.

Now onto some stamping fun. I'm sure that you didn't miss the new release over at All That Scraps last week. All of the new stamps are now available and this time around I inked up Caroling Emma for a classically quaint Christmas card. She is so sweet looking and it was a match made in heaven to pair her up with some new Handmade Holidays paper from Simple Stories. Something about that burlap print just won me over. And how cool are those new CC Cutters? The Music Note border is so delicate and I am going to get a ton of use out of those holly leaves, I can tell you that right now! :)

Alrighty friends, I hope that you are enjoying some beautiful fall weather and not having to rush through the season. And even if you are finding days rushing by, take some time to slow down and heck, even hop on over to the ATS blog for some lovely inspiration.

XOXO

Oh Amy this card is just ADORABLE! I just love the old fashion lets go caroling feel to it. Of course your coloring is fantastic as always. I am so so upset that I missed all of your previews last week. Your new stamps are all very cute and I really love the cards you made as well. I am sorry to read that your Mom is back in Seattle and of course I will continue to pray that she comes home very very soon. I hope that you are doing well too. I am hoping to hear that everything is going great with the homefront stuff as well. Sorry to have been MIA lately. That my friend is a whole other issue. :O{ Hugs, Lisa
