Merry & Bright...

Hi guys!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. Mine was really good, the food was delicious and the company was even better. I've been busy working since the big day and when you are in retail this time of year, it doesn't leave much time for getting crafty. But I finally found a few minutes last night and it was nice to get off my feet and relax for a bit. :)

The card I made is for this week's Farm Fresh Friday challenge at The Greeting Farm. It's a color challenge to use a baby blue, silver, and white combo. I wanted to try a new head swap so I pulled out my Miss Anya sets to see what I could come up with. Hats Off Anya with her stylin' fedora seemed like a good candidate and when I spotted a similarly cool coat on one of the gals from the Rain, Snow, Shine set it was a match made in snowy heaven. All I had to do was wipe away her umbrella before stamping and draw the line of her leg back in as well as add some striped leggings and a pair of mittens to keep her warm in that frosty winter wonderland. Though with an outfit like that I doubt she is out hiking through the forest, I see Miss Anya here strolling through Central Park instead. ;)

Anywho, I'm enjoying a day off today and tomorrow I'll be back with a CC Designs December preview... see ya then!

AWE this is ADORABLE!!! Super cute card!!!! Brooke and I have been enjoying our 4 days off from work and school. Not looking forward to going back tomorrow. We have both crafted only slightly since being off. We have really taken advantage of staying up really late and sleeping in!! Ahhhh if I only I could come into some big wind fall and continue. LOL! Enjoy your day off! We are off to grandpa's in a little bit for another Thanksgiving dinner. This one should be way better then the 1 on Thurs. Looking forward to your creations this week!
hugs, Heidi & Brooke
