Once again I am over on the Bellarific Blog with a Scenic Saturday card. Yesterday was the first official day of summer and my current cards are definitely reflecting the easy living life that comes with long, hot days. I still had the Littles out from my last Bella blog post so I decided to really have some fun mixing and matching several of the sets onto one card this time around. But how to do that without making it look too crowded and overwhelming? After a bit of a think I settled on turning my card front into a comic strip type of layout which gave me five small spaces to stamp and color individually yet come together at the end as one cohesive design. I ended up using stamps from the Sandcastle set, Umbrella set, Palm Tree set and Snorkel set then just made sure to use the same colors throughout all of the panels to help tie them together. I don't know about you but I sure wouldn't mind spending some time on that beach!
