Flower Fairies of the Fall...

Good morning!

We added two new 2x3 Monthly Flower Fairies with the Christmas Cheer clear release at Sweet November Stamps, October Marigold Fairy and November Chrysanthemum Fairy. They are both so mindful, so demure... LOL! ;)

Marigold Fairy is so pretty with her short hair and flouncy petal skirt. She is a luminous reminder of the warm sunshine that we see less of as the autumn days grow short and shorter.

Chrysanthemum Fairy looks like she is strutting down a runway in her gorgeous dress made up of hundreds of tiny petals. She is as stunning as the last rays of autumn sunlight reflecting off of cool, clear waters. And just in case you missed it, this release also includes a special add on set to this sweet series with the Mistletoe and Holly Fairies

Have a wonderful week my friends!

Day two of Christmas Cheer at SN!

Hello again!

It's day two of the Christmas Cheer clear release at Sweet November and the celebration continues as the team and I showcase even more of the 12 new stamp sets plus the two fabulous new sequin mixes. The shopping special for this release is spend $75 or more and you will get the 3x4 Christmas Minis absolutely FREE (while supplies last). And of course there is also FREE SHIPPING on all domestic orders over $75 and $15 flat rate shipping for all international orders over $75. We've also brought back the exclusive limited time digital bundle deal so for this weekend only, October 19th thru October 21st, a digital stamp bundle that includes the entire Christmas Cheer release will be available for $100. This is a very limited time offer and once the weekend is over the only time you might see it again is during a black Friday or another special event.

I've got three more cards to share with you today, and this first one features the Holly Fairy from the Mistletoe and Holly 3x4 set. These Christmas cuties coordinate with the ongoing Flower Fairies of the Month collection, adding their own kind of holiday magic to the mix. I've stamped her on a larger square of card stock that I then placed over the bottom corner of the Postage Grid Cover die from Mama Elephant because I wanted it to look like she is the sample stamp that is sometimes included on a sheet of stamps.

Next, I had a blast creating this modern take on the "I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus" song by making it look like a text conversation on this fun Cell Phone Mini Slimline die from Trinity Stamps. Up top we see the photo that was snapped of Mommy and Santa from the Dear Santa set, followed by an emoji and silly messages that I got from an old elf stamp set by Hero Arts. It's definitely a cheeky twist on a traditional Christmas card, LOL!

Finally, there is this trio of adorable singers from the Christmas Choir set that I colored Live over on the Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page yesterday afternoon. They are all dressed up and looking picture perfect for their big moment up on stage. The sentiment and music notes were borrowed from the Joyful Noise set and I think it is pretty perfect with these cute kiddos.

The Instagram hop is still going strong with all sorts of holiday inspiration and a chance to win the entire release, just search for the #sweetnovemberstamps account to get started. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, the 22nd. And the Youtube hop starts this morning for another chance at winning the entire release! You can also check out all of the cards over at the Friends of Sweet November Stamps group on Facebook for even more inspiration from our talented design team members. I will also be coloring Live two more times today, first at 10am then again at 2pm PDT on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page.

The Christmas Cheer release is here!

Hello friends!

The time for holiday crafting is here and the new Christmas Cheer clear release at Sweet November Stamps is now available. There you will find 10 uniquely adorable Christmas themed sets, two new additions to the Flower Fairies of the month series as well as two new exclusive sequin mixes. The shopping special for this release is spend $75 or more and you will get the 3x4 Christmas Minis set absolutely FREE (while supplies last). And of course there is also FREE SHIPPING on all domestic orders over $75 and $15 flat rate shipping for all international orders over $75. We've also brought back the exclusive limited time digital bundle deal, so for this weekend only, October 19th thru October 21st, a digital stamp bundle that includes the entire Christmas Cheer release will be available for $100. This is a very limited time offer and once the weekend is over the only time you might see it again is during a black Friday or another special event.

Over the past couple weeks I've had the Christmas tunes playing in my craft room to help get me in the holiday spirit. While I've been bopping along to my festive playlist the Christmas cards have been coming along one after the other. I'm quite excited to finally get to start sharing some of them with you today! First up is a large faux postage stamp card featuring Santa and the little tot spying on him from the Dear Santa set. I stamped them both onto the center panel of the Mama Elephant Postage Frame die and colored up the scene before adding the finishing touches with the Oversized Postage stamp set from Waffle Flower.

Next, I paired this stylish gal from the Retro Christmas Shoppers set with the new City Sidewalks Background Builder set to create this sweet scene that has a bit of a 60's vibe to it. I'd like to think that she is on her way to gift a special friend with that cheery poinsettia and her little pup is just happy to go out on a walk. :)

It seems that I can't get enough of the postage themed trend as this card uses that great Postcard Details Pierce Plate and stamps from The Greetery to help showcase this adorable pair of polar pals from the From Me to You set. This sweet polar bear is getting some help decorating for the holidays from his little penguin friend and I don't think that I've ever seen a cuter Christmas wreath, have you? I used the Copic airbrush system to add the wintery blue background to this faux postcard and the large sentiment is from the Colorado Craft Company Merry Everything set.

Finally for today, I've stamped all four of the adorable Christmas Minis onto the Postage Stamps die from The Stamp Market. With the addition of the pricing stamp from Waffle Flower, they make for the cheeriest sheet of Christmas stamps that I simply wish I had to mail my envelopes with this year.  :)

Now, if you are on Instagram and would like a chance at winning the entire release, we are hosting a three day Instahop and we are once again being joined by our friends at The Crafty Purple Frog (SN UK stockist). Just search for the #sweetnovemberstamps account to get started. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, the 22nd. Stay Wicked...

TGIF!

I fell in love with this pretty little Wicked Anya and her kitty from The Greeting Farm and had to get her as soon as she was released. It took me awhile to ink her up though, so unfortunately it looks like she is sold out at the moment. Still, I so enjoyed coloring her and her friendly familiar into this spooky forest background for a darling Halloween card. I kept the majority of the card in black and purple hues so that her emerald green hair and bright orange candy bucket would really pop.  :)

Be sure to check back tomorrow, when I switch gears and go totally Christmas!

May luck be yours...

Olo!

I'm currently busy coloring and creating Christmas cards for this weekend's release  at Sweet November Stamps so I thought I would share another cute card that I made using the adorable Hang in There spider. I actually made a handful of these cards during the last release as we needed extra cards to add to the orders and this was a pretty quick design to replicate. This time around I stamped the spider right side up in the bottom corner of this faux post card design. I like how he appears to be popping into the scene to say hello. To give the rest of the post card a decidedly spooky vibe, I raided my stash of Halloween stamps and found some oldies but goodies from my scrapbooking days that mixed and matched perfectly with the newer postage theme stamps that are all the rage right now. Once they were all stamped on and the spider was colored up all I had to do was mask the spider, stamp and postage tape before airbrushing the background in fun Halloween colors. It's always fun putting a different spin on a stamp like Hang in There and giving it a whole new look. :)

Toodles!
