Jingle All The Way...

Olo!

Just a quick pop in to share another card from the recent Hello Bluebird release and a reminder that today is the last day to take advantage of the 20% OFF Black Friday sale going on until 11:59pm MST tonight. All you gotta do is use the code THANKFUL21 at check out to treat yo'self to some sweet deals.

For my card today I pulled out the new City Sidewalks set and loaded up the taxi with cheerful Christmas critters. I trimmed the panel they were stamped on using the Nesting Oval die set and then colored them into a snowy night scene in the city. My guess is that they are heading home from a hoppin' Christmas party and they are still feeling that excitement in the air. Before attaching my colored scene to the dark blue card base I first glued on a few of the Big Snowflake dies to break up all that blue and create a festive pattern. And finally the sentiment was borrowed from the North Pole Littles set and heat embossed with white embossing powder so it would show up on that dark road.  :)

Ok, time for me to scoot... have a good one!

Merry Everything...

Good morning!

I've been a fan of the lovely Girl stamps from Felicity Jane for awhile now and even though I am diligent about collecting the new one each month I rarely find time to get them on cards. So this is me doing my part to continue working towards my goal of getting more of my stamp stash onto cards. Bella Girl is from this year's Christmas kit and when I paired her with the Snow Road background stamp from Whimsy Stamps I knew it was a perfect match. The background stamp was just wide enough for a mini slimline card and by masking Bella and coloring the road in to extend past the gate I was able to make her feel right at home here. I love how it looks like she is getting ready to decorate that red fence behind her.  :)

Alrighty, I've got to run... thanks for stopping by!

Dashing through the no...

Hello, hello!

Yesterday I hopped onto my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page and did a Live using the new Oddball Three Elves and a Tree stamp from Stamping Bella. During the release previews I had shared a card with a pine covered mountain background and got a few requests to show how that was done, this seemed like the perfect time and stamp to accommodate that request. As you can see, these three elves have finally found the perfect Christmas tree to decorate the work shop. The only problem now is getting it back there and none of them look particularly thrilled about carrying it all the way back down the mountain, LOL! The sentiment is another one from the hilarious Festive Oddball Sentiment set and I can totally hear those elves saying it.  ;)

Before I leave you, just a reminder that the 25% OFF Sale at Stamping Bella has been extended through Tuesday, November 30th so there is still time to pick up a few of your favorites at a great deal... no code necessary!

Seasons Greetings...

Hey there!

I hope everyone is enjoying this long weekend and taking advantage of all the great sales happening everywhere you look. My card today has a whole lot of Hello Bluebird goodness going on and they just so happen to be having a 20% OFF Black Friday sale going on now through the 30th, all you gotta do is use the code THANKFUL21 at check out. Getting back to my card, I've really been wanting to create a winter scene for this sweet, vintage looking deer that is part of the Merry Little Christmas set. Because she is part of a mostly sentiment set, I borrowed images from a few different sets to help tell the story. First I grabbed the tree stump from the Coffee Friends set, then one of the birds from the Feed the Birds set and masked them together. In the background I stamped my favorite stand of birch trees from the Picked For You set a few different times so they extended across the entire half circle. Once my scene was all colored and ready to mount on my card base I decided to add a little extra interest using the Cozy Plaid background stamp to add a white pattern on the kraft card base. The berries are from the Holly and Pine die set and after coloring them and gluing them on the card I added some Ranger glossy accents to make them nice and shiny. The sentiment is from the Big Christmas Greetings set, which I heat embossed using gold powder and used the coordinating die to cut out. I told you a whole lotta Hello Bluebird ended up on this sweet, simple Christmas card... LOL!  ;)

Stay crafty my friends!
