Thinking of you...

Hey, hey!

On Monday we released the second of four Fae-bruary Fairy digis at Sweet November Stamps, pretty Miss Nettlewisp.  Along with each release I also do a Live coloring of the new image that same day over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page. I paired Nettlewisp with the forest stump from the Forest Stump and Hollow Log set as well as one of the elements from the Mermaid Lagoon Background set. Together they laid the ground work for the foreground of this scene but left me with enough room to color in the dreamy forest scene in the distance. If you are interested in watching everything come together you can check out the replay here. So be sure to check out Nettlewisp, and play along in the Sweet November Fae-bruary challenges.  ;)

Later gators!

Hi there!

It's finally release day at Stamping Bella and all of the new Spring release stamps are now available for purchase. With so many different kinds of characters and themes to choose from it might be hard to narrow down which ones to add to your stamp stash, especially now that SB is doing their own in house manufacturing, reducing the price of all their stamps. Today I've got a card using the new Spec-taculars Chips and Dip stamp. The entire collection makes for playful and funny Valentines, especially when paired with the Spec-tacular Sentiment set.
As a bit of release day fun I will be coloring one of the new Whimsabellas during a Live at 11am PST today over on the Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page. Hope you can join me!

New Release Sneak Peeks at Stamping Bella!

Good morning!

Spring release sneak peeks start today at Stamping Bella and over the next three days the rest of the team and I will be sharing cards using all of the new stamps that will be available for purchase on Wednesday, February 12th at noon EST. Today I'm excited to be sharing a new range of characters called the Whimsabellas. There are four playful fairies and a coordinating Spring Backdrop that are so much fun to create with.

My first card features Whimsabella Petal Shimmer who is fluttering through the sky, gathering flowers all along the way. Below her a fairy tale landscape stretches out as far as the eye can see.

Next we have Whimsabella Glimmer Glade who is another flying cutie and she's rockin' the pigtails and a beautiful bouquet of spring blooms. I paired her with the Fairytale Backdrop because I thought it would be fun if she was surprising one of the castle inhabitants with her magical flowers.

Finally, Whimsabella Daisy Dream is sheltering beneath a large flower with the new Spring Backdrop behind her. She looks right at home in this magical garden, just as sunny and bright as the sun shining down on her.

Alrighty, now be sure to head on over to the Blogabella for even more new release inspiration!

Hello, baby...

Hello, hello!

So, yesterday the team and I were doing a review/preview before the big clear release on the 15th at Sweet November Stamps. As part of the fun I did a Live coloring over on the Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page. For my card I paired the sweet SN Gal Maya with a sneak peek of the upcoming Simple Room: Reading Nook Background Builder set. I used some of the furniture from the set to create a nursery scene for mama and baby and it was suggested during the Live that I add in a fun art print hanging on the wall. We had the time to do it and I went with a playful giraffe because the yellow coordinated nicely with the rest of the color scheme that we had given the furniture. The end result is Maya and her baby looking right at home.  :)

Later gators!

A sweet treat...

Hello friends!

It's review/preview weekend at Sweet November Stamps and I doubled down on both a Valentine theme and Fae-bruary theme with these adorable Valentine Sweetwees that released last year. I did some masking to fit three of the fairwees onto this mini slimline postage collage die cut because turning them into a sheet of stamps gave me the perfect opportunity to sneak peek some of the stamps from the new Year Round Postage set that is releasing next weekend. I filmed the coloring and creating of this card so if you are interested, you can check out the short reel over on Instagram and a longer speed coloring will also be added to the Sweet November Stamps YouTube channel soon. Don't forget to head on over to the Friends of Sweet November Stamps Facebook group for even more sneak pooeks from the rest of the design team and I will be coloring Live at 11am PST on the Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page.

Smooches!

Hugs and Smiles...

TGIF my friends!

I am very happy to report that I am on quite a roll in regards to making a dent in the stack of pre-stamped images that I have sitting on my desk. I can't even tell you how long this adorable Amelia from the retired Oliver and Amelia Special Delivery set at The Greeting Farm has been waiting. I figure she was just waiting for me to collect all of the fun postage themed stamps and dies to really give her a cute card to call home. Within the scene I paired her with a mailbox stamp from Hello Bluebird that is covered in snow, which plays back nicely to Amelia's bundled up ensemble. The large postage frame die makes the entire scene look like a decorative mailing stamp and I used a mix of postmarks from Waffle Flower and Sweet November to add the perfect finishing touches. As cute as this turned out, I'm definitely tempted to get Oliver from this same set onto a coordinating card before Valentine's Day rolls around.  ;)

Have a great weekend!
