Meowy Christmas...

Hello again!

We are on the last day of previews for the new Stamping Bella holiday release before everything hits the shelves tomorrow. It's one last mix of fun Halloween and Christmas images to get your creative card making ideas flowing. Today I've got a Christmas card featuring The Kitty and the Ornament stamp. It appears that this kitty has been especially naughty, having knocked over the Christmas tree in his attempt to collect the shiny bauble now dangling from the end of his tail. I colored the cat into a grey tabby and added the tree by hand as well as the floor. Even though I also colored a few ornaments into the branches of the tree, I also added some shiny sequins to the branches for extra sparkle. The sentiment is an older one that comes in the Meowy Christmas stamp set but I thought it worked perfectly with this crazy cat too.  :)

Now be sure to go check out today's post on the Bellarific blog for more amazing cards from my fellow bellas!

It's a Halloween Masquerade at Sweet November...

Hello, hello!

Are you ready for another new digital release at Sweet November Stamps? This week the theme is Halloween Masquerade and the collection features four little trick or treaters wearing vintage inspired Halloween masks of classic spooky characters as well as a new Neighborhood background stamp that creates the perfect backdrop for them to play in. The trick or treaters are; Scottie the Skeleton, Black Cat Becca, Ghost Gertie and Monster Matthew.

For my first card, I colored Scottie the Skeleton who is proudly showing off some of the sugary sweets that he's collected while canvasing the Neighborhood. If you are interested in watching this scene get colored up, there is the short coloring reel of this card over on my Instagram or watch the longer speed coloring video over on our Sweet November Stamps YouTube channel  :)

Next, we have Black Cat Becca looking cute while trick or treating door to door.

Ghost Gertie is also making the rounds, trying to fill her candy bag faster than all of her friends.

Finally, Monster Matthew is stomping down the sidewalk trying to scare everyone he meets. he wants candy and he wants it now!

Now be sure to check out the Friends of Sweet November Stamps group on Facebook for even more Halloween Masquerade fun from Caitlin and Amanda, as well as our fabulous guest designer, Melissa Oeters. And don't forget, I will be coloring Live today at 11am PST over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page and I hope to see ya there!

You're my boo...

Hello there!

The new Stamping Bella holiday release previews are continuing on today with another mix of fun Halloween and Christmas images being showcased. My card today features the Scaredy Owl stamp and a sentiment from the Frightful and Delightful set. These wide eyed owls with their exaggerated expressions are so full of personality, I was chuckling the entire time that I was coloring them up, LOL! I decided to keep the background black and white so that the owls would really pop on this simple card. :)

Now it's time to check out today's post on the Bellarific blog for even more sneak peeks and inspiration!

It's new release time at Stamping Bella!

TGIF my friends!

How about we wrap up this week with some exciting new Stamping Bella release previews?! That's right, there are 21 new stamp sets coming to the shop on Monday, the 26th, with a mix of Halloween and Christmas images to help spread some holiday happiness. Until then the design team is previewing all weekend long and you will want to be sure to check out the posts on the Bellarific blog for even more inspiration!

Today's sneak peeks are a little bit naughty and a little bit nice with the Curvy Girl Devil and Curvy Girl Angel stamp sets as well as the new Angel and Devil Sentiment set. Both the Angel and the Devil come as a set of two stamps with the larger regular size Curvy Girl and a mini version too.

For this devilish card I stamped up Curvy Girl Devil and colored her in a simple red ensemble with dark tights. I then masked her off and grabbed an old Heidi Swapp Flame mask and my Copic airbrush system to create this super hot background. A sprinkling of black and silver sequins added just the right amount of extra shine and sparkle to the completed card.

I basically followed the same creative recipe for creating Curvy Girl Angel's card. First she got stamped and colored, then masked off before I came in with my airbrush system once again and a My Favorite Things cloud stencil die. This time I chose some pretty iridescent sequins for the extra sparkle.

Finally, I grabbed the two mini versions of Curvy Girls Angel and Devil because I really wanted to pair them with this great sentiment that comes in the new Angel and Devil Sentiment set. To help play up the yin and yang dichotomy of these two I chose to keep the entire card black and white with just a little bit of silver here and there. It's a super CAS design but I think it works really well with them.  :)

Well I hope you enjoyed this first day of previews and I promise there is plenty more to look forward to in the days ahead!
