A very Color-Fall clear release at Sweet November!

Hello friends!

We are closing out September with a wonderfully Color-Fall clear release at Sweet November Stamps. Once again we ended up with thirteen new stamp sets, two of which are fun background builders that will go with so many of the stamps already in your stash. Tee has also worked her magic and created four new custom SN sequin mixes that look amazing with these Autumn themed stamps. The shopping special for this release is spend $150 or more and you will get the 6x6 Bountiful Blessings: Thanks a Bunch set absolutely FREE (while supplies last). And of course there is also FREE SHIPPING on all domestic orders over $75 and $15 flat rate shipping for all international orders over $75. Because the exclusive limited time digital bundle deal did so well during the last clear release we are doing it again. This weekend only, September 30th thru October 2nd, a digital bundle deal that includes the entire Fall release will be available for $110. This is a very limited time offer and once the weekend is over the only time you might see it again is during a black Friday or some other special event.

With so many delightful new stamps sets, I've already created way more cards than I can share in a single post. So of course I had a difficult time narrowing down these first four but I think I ended up with a good mix. First up is this lovely girl from the Bountiful Blessings: Thanks a Bunch set (which is our shopping incentive freebie) and she is busy bringing in the grape harvest on one of the local vineyards. She comes with three sentiments, a couple grapevine background stamps and a bunch of cute little birds who are hoping to find a stray grape or two to take back to their nest.

Next, the SN Gals are back and this beauty is SN Gal Olive. Olive is great for those early fall card themes, with her classic style and cute infinity scarf to ward off that slight chill in the air.I paired her with the sentiment included in the new Liv stamp set because I thought Olive would be perfect for celebrating a new beginning in a young woman's life... perhaps starting a new job or school.

The new Coffwees set finds our favorite little Fairwees celebrating their love for all things coffee! Each of the cuties included are enjoying a delicious brew that will keep them warm and toasty on a chilly Fall day. I've paired two of the Coffwees together for this friendly scene and left plenty of room at the bottom of the card for this large sentiment that is also included in the set.

Finally for today, I've got a card using sweet Bella, the little mushroom elf. And just like a Fall mushroom, she is popping up with a sweet message to share with someone special. With her sweet and sassy pose, Bella is sure to bring plenty of smiles.

Now, if you are on Instagram and would like a chance at winning the entire release, we are hosting a three day Instahop and we are once again being joined by our friends at The Crafty Purple Frog (SN UK stockist). Just search for the #sweetnovemberstamps account to get started. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, the 3rd. You can also check out all of the cards over at the Friends of Sweet November Stamps group on Facebook for even more cozy and colorful Fall inspiration from Caitlin, Lisa, Amanda and Allison as well as our talented digital team and special guests, Jenny Dix, Christine Levison and Karina Belger. A night full of frights...

TGIF my friends!

The new Halloween mini release is coming to the Hello Bluebird store tonight at 7pm MST and I've got one more preview card to share before then. And don't forget to check out the Hello Bluebird blog to see all of the spooky cute inspiration from my fellow DT members and leave a comment before 4pm MST, for a chance to win a gift certificate to the HB store

I've made a tall slimline card today using the Tall Trees Scene die and some cute costumed critters from the new Candy Crew stamp set. I die cut all three of them out using the Candy Crew coordinating dies so I could pop dot them over top the spooky moonlit scene that I had created with the tall trees. The sentiment is from the new Spooky Text clear set and I heat embossed it in white on black card stock. A sprinkling of candy colored star embellishments that coordinate with the critters and this fun card was done!

Have a great day and have fun shopping tonight!  :)

If friends were pumpkins...

Hello, hello!

There is a brand new Halloween mini release coming to the Hello Bluebird store tomorrow, September 29th at 7pm MST so that means today I've got the first of two preview cards to share. There are four spooky cute stamp sets with coordinating dies and three stand alone die sets being released and you will want to check out the Hello Bluebird blog to see all of the spooktacular inspiration from my fellow DT members and leave a comment for a chance to win a gift certificate to the HB store

My card today features the adorable Peek-A-Boo set that works for both Halloween and Fall themed cards. It includes four cute critters ready to pop out of a large pumpkin or peek out from behind one of the smaller pumpkins in the set. I inked up the bunny, raccoon and squirrel and with a bit of masking was able to put them in and behind the pumpkins, I even added the pumpkin topper as a cap on the raccoon's head. I stamped the jack o'lantern face onto the large pumpkin to make this a Halloween card and proceeded to color them into a spooky night scene with rich jewel tone colors. I cut black card stock using the Gallery Frame #3 die and used the pinked edge frame to finish off the card.

Well, thanks so much for stopping by. Check back tomorrow for day two of the Hello Bluebird previews.  :)

Pumpkin Spice It Up...

Hello friends!

I'm up on the TGF blog today and I figured it was the perfect time of year to add some pumpkin spice to the super cute Coffee Bean stamp kit. I've been saving this curly haired coffee lover, with her sweater and fun sunflower headband, for a fall inspired coffee card. Of course I also went to my TGF digi collection for all of the seasonal background elements that I needed to make this scene happen. I began by stamping the cute Bean and masking her off, then I went to my computer and started to put together a background scene of a coffee shop all decorated up for pumpkin spice season. I started with one of the shops in the Storefronts set enlarged to fill the entire card front. I added the open sign to the door, the coffee icon to the window and a large planter beside the door. I then went to the Hello Fall digi set and stacked some pumpkins in the planter, I also shrunk one super small to add to the coffee cup window decal. Falling leaves became more window decals and the adorable scarecrow got his own to-go cup thanks to the Bakery/Cafe set. Once the background was set, I ran the little Coffee Bean through the printer so that when I removed the mask she was standing in front of the door.

Now it was time to color and I kept with a very fall inspired color palette throughout the scene. Warm yellows from the leaves and sunflower, dark coffee browns, pumpkin orange and deep olive green hues all come together to bring to mind a crisp fall morning with a cup full of joe warm in your hand. The perfect sentiment was borrowed from the Pumpkin Spice Simon Says Stamp exclusive set from a few years ago and I altered it just a bit to make it two lines instead of three. The end result is a fun, fall card perfect for that pumpkin spice addict in your life.  ;)

Stay crafty my friends!

There's a little witch in all of us...

Hey, hey!

Here's another card from the new holiday release at Stamping Bella. This cutie is Tiny Townie Wanda the Witch and her Cauldron and she is looking quite dressed up for this year's Halloween celebration. And apparently she needs to take her magic potion with her, LOL! I wanted to make it look like Wanda is walking down a hallway so I masked her off and stamped the stone floor from the Sweet November Halloween Room Background Builder set right over top. I then masked off the floor and floorboard as well, before using my Copic airbrush system to create the lovely gradient of light on the wall. The sentiment is a favorite of mine and can be found in the new Spooky Sentiment set.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy Halloween...

Good morning!

I've got a clean and simple Halloween card to share today using a mix of stamps from Purple Onion Designs. I started off by grabbing the Happy Pumpkins stamp and then found Lilly, this happy dancing owl, and I immediately thought it would be cute if she was dancing right on those pumpkins. To make that happen, I stamped Lilly first, masked her off and then stamped the Happy Pumpkins below. Next, I added a mask to the pumpkins and stamped the Birch Trees Background behind them to help fill in the scene. Once the masks were removed it was time to color and I started with a soft, dusky hued violet sky that ended up looking really pretty with the rest of the rather de-saturated colors that I used throughout the scene. The sentiment is part of the Essential Happy Sentiment set and I ended up sprinkling a few green gems around it as a magical finishing touch.  :)

Later gators!
