More bubbles than troubles...

Olo!

It's a review weekend at Sweet November Stamps and the team and I are showcasing more of the magical mermaids that make up the Tails from the Sea clear stamp release. I went back to the fun Mer Friends set for my card today and stamped up another duo. I also used the Kelp Bed Background Builder set and a mirror stamp to create the ravine framing them as they dance and twirl. I did create a quick reel of my coloring for this scene so if you are interested in watching it just head over to Instagram. A longer speed coloring video will also be added to the Sweet November Stamps YouTube channel.  :)

Have a wonderful weekend!

Sending you oceans of love...

TGIF!

I'm still working through the cards that I made for the Tails from the Sea clear release at Sweet November Stamps and this one was colored during my final Live on Sunday afternoon. This siren of the sea is from the Lovely Mermees set and the request was to create a beach background with waves crashing into shore. Once we chose the peachy corals and fiery reds for her tail I opted for the blue/greens to create the sky and sea because I love the look of pairing teal and red. The golden sand and strong shading also add to the overall glow of this flirty scene. After the Live was over I stamped the sentiment using a red ink to match her tail and felt like I needed something red in the opposite corner to create a nice visual triangle. I went with a die cut heart speech bubble because it was a cute call back to the sentiment's message. ;)

Have a good one!

Dream big little mermaid...

Hi friends!

Of course I had to make a fun faux postcard for the new release at Sweet November Stamps and the Merwee Gabby Guppies were the perfect set to make that happen. I used two of the three Merwees included in the set, and have them chatting with each other at the bottom of the sea. I also took the cute octopus and stamped him up into the postage stamp space as a fun touch. The background was partially colored in by hand, the sand and sea and kelp. Then I created a mask to block that all off and used the Copic airbrush system to create the dark interior of the cave. The postal accents are a mix from The Greetery and the SN Year Round Post Marks, though I did alter the post mark by wiping away the sandals in the center and replacing them with a fish instead. I always have a blast coming up with these post card style scenes and can't wait to make the next one.

Thanks for stopping by!

Shimmer and shine...

Hello again!

This wide eyed and wild haired mermaid is part of a duo that make up the new Shimmer and Shine clear set that released this past weekend at Sweet November Stamps. I thought it would be cute to have her sitting inside a sea cave so I grabbed the older Under the Sea Background Builder set and stamped the cave roof at the top of the card. A smattering of little accents from a couple other sets and this sweet scene was ready to color. Her pretty pink hair and lime green tail look so fresh and lovely within this aquatic environment.

Later gators!

Cutest mermaid under the sea...

Hey there!

We added a special bonus shopping incentive to the mix for this MerMay clear release at Sweet November Stamps. While drawing for the release I ended up with an extra mermaid who didn't quite fit on the new Mer Friends set. Rather than let her sit and gather dust, we decided to name her Coralyn and have her be a free digi gift for any size order that is placed through May 31st. Then on June 1st she will be available in the shop for anyone to purchase. For my card, I paired Coralyn with the digi prize from week two of the current MerMay progression challenge, which is a Coral Reef. I then stamped some aquatic friends from the Something's Fishy set and a sentiment from the Merwees Set #2 to complete the scene. I hope you enjoy creating with her just as much as I have.  :)

Have a good one!

The World Above...

Good morning!

The May Sweet November Stamps newsletter went out last night and ended the 2025 MerMay celebration with one final mermaid as this month's freebie. World Above is a sweet little mermaid dreaming of life out of the ocean. With the rocks and fish down below she has been brave enough to come right up to the surface but will she make that final push to finally break through the waves? The sentiment is from the older Sea Birds clear set and I stamped it in an ink color that matched the rocks that I colored in by hand. Ok, time to go check your inbox and grab this cutie so you can use her for this last week of the MerMay challenges going on in the Friends of Sweet November Stamps Facebook group. :)

Toodles!
