Puuurfect day...

Hi there! It's March 1st and that means a brand new Farm Fresh Challenge is underway at The Greeting Farm! As you know a new challenge is issued at the beginning of every month over on the TGF blog and this time around we were inspired by the old saying, "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb" which means...  'Animals Rule'. So ink up any of the super cute critter stamps from the TGF store and play along for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate!

For my card I grabbed the totally fun Purfect Cats clear stamp set and went to town stamping up this scene. With just a bit of masking I made a pile of kitties lounging and playing with one and other and I gotta say it reminds me a little bit too much of my own kitties here at home. ;)

Alrighty friends, have fun with this one. I can't wait to see what you create!

Blooms...

Hello, hello!

It's been quite some time since I've played along in the Sugar Bowl challenge and I really wanted to do something about that. So I grabbed my Sugar Nellie stamp binder and searched for just the right image to inspire me. I finally settled on this delightful flower fairy called Live, Laugh, Love. I simply adore these stamps and am keeping my fingers crossed that we might see some new ones someday soon, it feels like its been ages since there was a Sugar Nellie release. But I digress, I ended up pairing Live, Laugh, Love with a pretty scrap of floral paper from The Girls' Paperie and pulled all of my Copic colors from it. The design is a clean and simple one with only a sprinkling of sequins for embellishment. I gotta say that this card makes me happy, everything about it says springtime sunshine to me. :)

Well, enjoy this leap day today... try to do something fun 'cause we only get this every four years. ;)

So nice...

TGIF!

I promised yesterday that I would be sharing my short haired version of Super Secret Stamp Club Katie and here she is. Doesn't she look super stylish with her trimmed up bob hair-do? The alteration was super easy as all I had to do was take a black multi-liner pen and run a couple lines across at chin level. Being a short haired gal myself, I'm quite in love with how Katie looks minus the long tresses. I guess it's just proof that she is cute enough to pull off both looks.
I paired Katie up with some pretty pastel floral paper from Simple Stories for a nice spring time feel. And I played around with some extra vellum that was sitting on my desk to die cut a few clear butterflies for embellishment. It's hard to see them in the photo but they look pretty cool in person.

Alrighty, I'm off for a fun day of coloring. Have a fabulous weekend my friends!  :)

Let's chat...

Mornin' friends!

The TGF Super Secret Stamp Club cutie for February was this sweet girl called Katie. Talk about love at first sight, which is very appropriate for the month of love I would say. I just adore everything about her plus as soon as I saw her I could also see how with just a few simple strokes of the pen Katie could be just as cute with a short haircut. In fact I couldn't resist doing the simple alteration so you will be seeing the short haired version of Katie tomorrow.
For today's card though I paired Katie up with some papers from October Afternoon because I was really diggin' the aqua, grey, white and cream color combo. Then I grabbed the Vogue Abode set by Paper Smooches and stamped up a little tone on tone living room scene for Katie to kick back and relax in while she chats with her friend.

If you've missed out on this last round of SSSC stamps mark your calendars because sign ups for the April-June term are less than a week away. I promise you won't regret it.  :)

Catch ya on the flip side!

Hello...

Hello, hello!

I'm posting over on the TGF blog today and I'm excited to be sharing new shades of Anya's Salon. If you missed the first couple salon posts the idea is a simple one, create eight different hair color combos using six Copic markers. For this visit  to Anya's Salon Anya has decided to go brunette and Marie has even added a brand new Brunette Anya digi to the store just for the occasion! So if you would like to see what Anya's Salon is all about head on over to The Greeting Farm blog today and check it out.

For my card I colored up Brunette Anya using the Roasted Chestnut combo but I also wanted to give her a body. So I grabbed Day Out Anya (who I couldn't find in the store... bummers) and did a super simple head swap. Now this beautiful brunette is all dressed up for a fun garden party luncheon with her best friends.

Have a good one everybody!  :)

Wag more...

Hey there!

I had a busy day at work yesterday which didn't leave me with a lot of crafty time once I got home. Still, I needed to unwind a bit with something quick and easy. So I grabbed one of the fun peeker pups, Peanut, from Sister Stamps and started coloring. I am such a fan of all the Sister Stamps critters, I just love how much personality each one has. I paired Peanut up with some dog themed Snap Pack papers and decided that the card needed something else for that perfect finishing touch. That's when I spotted the Lucky Dogs set from The Greeting Farm sitting on my desk. The bone, ball and bowl all came from it and now I think it looks like we've caught Peanut mid romp amongst all his favorite possessions. :)

Later gators!

Thinking of you...

Good morning!

The sun has been shining and the snow has been melting all weekend long. I am so excited to have spring right around the corner. I'm sure my spring fever had much to do with this card that I've made for the current ADFD challenge. The theme this time around is "add a touch of wood" and I had just the paper for it. I've been saving it for just the right card and this was it. I paired it up with the lovely Wild Rose Nymph because she seemed to suit its rustic charm perfectly. Her big, bright eyes seem to reflect the clear blue skies of a beautiful spring day. :)

Well, I should be on my way. Thanks for stopping by today!

Hello there...

TGIF!

I really didn't want to miss a chance to play along in this week's Bellarific Friday challenge which is a "1-2-3" formula challenge... 1 image, 2 pattern papers and 3 embellishments. So I inked up this fabulous Uptown Girl called Flora and her Bicycle for my one image. Then I grabbed a couple of of paper scraps in some pretty and upbeat colors and sprinkled three little sequins on to complete the formula. It all adds up to a cheery CAS card that just makes me happy. :)

Alrighty, I know this post was short and sweet but I've really got to run. Have a wonderful weekend everybody!

Giddy-up girlfriend!

Good morning!

I have been playing around with the idea for this card ever since I got the Magical Friends stamp set from The Greeting Farm. It goes without saying that I love the unicorn and pegasus and at first I thought I would be adding a horn or wings to this little pony (which will probably still happen in the not-too-distant future) so that she would fit in with her friends. But then I found this sweet cowgirl from the You're Wanted set when I was flipping through my stamps and I realized that she would be the perfect friend for my non-magical horse. Plus I had the perfect paper to set the scene as well. So I colored her up to be a pretty little pinto pony just hanging out on the range with her cowgirl pal. I'm so happy with the results of this friendship and the card was a lot of fun to watch come together. :)

Ok folks, thanks for stopping by today!

Sparkle and shine...

Olo!

I couldn't wait to print out this gorgeous new Cheeky Love as soon as I got her. The cheekies are some of my most favorite TGF characters and it feels like we have to wait ages for a new one to join the family. But I will say that they are always worth the wait, LOL! ;)
Since I was done making Valentine's cards by the time I got Cheeky Love I decided to go for a pretty and colorful encouragement card instead. The paper is old Basic Grey and I really dig the shots of yellow amongst all the pink so I grabbed a neon ombre ink pad to play up the bright with this fun sentiment set, which is also from The Greeting Farm. Now this is a garden that I would like to visit.  :)

Ok, time for me to scoot. Laters!

Dearest love...

Good morning!

I actually made this card a couple weeks ago but it kept getting bumped for one reason or another. And while I know that Valentine's Day has passed can't we share a little love any day of the year? So this sweet little gal is from the Darling Sisters set over at The Greeting Farm and while I've hemmed and hawed for years about getting this set I couldn't pass them up when I saw it in the sale section recently. I chose to color up this sister first because the heart garland fit the creative mood I was in but I really can't wait to get the other two on cards of their own soon as well. Especially since I played around with the coloring of her face a bit to turn her little pin dot eyes into some wide eyed peepers. I'm really happy with how expressive she looks now. The rest of the card is super simple, just a couple strips of striped paper from my scrap stash and some pretty Prima flowers to pull it all together... done!

Alrighty, I'm off to work. Talk at'cha later!  :)

Dang...

Hi there!

It's finally here... release day! You can now purchase the two Super Secret Stamp Club cuties that we've been previewing the past couple days because Creeper Evie and Wild Sprout Blaire are in the Greeting Farm store right now! Both of these little gals are generic enough to work easily into so many different kinds of card designs and themes. I love them and I know you will want to add them to your TGF collection too.  :)

I've colored up Creeper Evie once again for today's card. This time around I've used her to create a fun and irreverent hello type of card to send to a friend I haven't seen in awhile. The papers are from an older Heidi Swapp collection and I am really diggin' the purple, teal, yellow, and grey combo of it. It just feels like early spring with some snow still melting on the ground but bits of color starting to peek out here and there. And Evie certainly looks to be dressed for that kind of weather. ;)

Well, thanks for stopping by and have fun shopping!

Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It

Enjoy today...

Hello again!

Welcome back to the second preview day of The Greeting Farm's February release. Our second Super Secret Stamp Club addition to the store is Wild Sprout Blaire. This bespectacled beauty certainly has her own sense of style and I gotta tell you... that hat is way too much fun to color. I even added Glossy Accents to the lenses of her glasses to make them nice and shiny. Which of course, shows up way better in person. Both Evie and Blaire will be available for purchase this coming Monday!
And as great as it is that these fabulous SSSC stamps eventually become available in the store, if you are on the fence at all about joining the Club itself the next go round I highly recommend it. I've been a faithful subscriber since the beginning and I can honestly say that there hasn't been a single stamp that we've received that I wouldn't have purchased outside the Club. So the savings really add up plus anticipating each month's stamp is always a fun surprise!  ;)

Later gators!

Love you...

Hi there!

It's preview time once again over at The Greeting Farm with two new stamps set to hit the store for the very first time on Monday. Now if you are a member of the Super Secret Stamp Club you will already have these beauties in your stash of stamps. But if you missed out before, you are in for a real treat this month! The first stamp we are previewing is a sassy Creeper named Evie. Evie is checking out a text message on her smart phone looking all hip and stylish as she does so. What with Valentine's Day coming up I thought it would be cute if Evie was getting a message from her not-so-secret admirer. If I had to guess which of the Creeper boys has her heart my money would be on Sunday, LOL!  ;)

Ok folks, that's all I've got for today. Be sure to check back tomorrow for the final February preview!  :)

Love is in the air...

Hey there!

It was hard narrowing down which cute Valentine digi I wanted to use for the current 'All my love' challenge over at A Day For Daisies but I finally settled on this Cute Delivery Fairy. She's so special, intently watching as each of her hearts falls down through the clouds to just the right recipient. I pulled all of my Copic markers from the photo inspiration that was provided thus the decision to shake things up and give this fairy some pretty pink hair. I used the very cool cloud border dies from MFT to give Delivery Fairy a heavenly home to reside in. All in all another simple Valentine that I am so happy with.

Alrighty, I'm outta here. Have a good one!  :)

Like you a lot...

Olo!

I've got one final Tiddly Inks valentine to share before the big day. Heartfelt Love is the third of three Valentine cuties that I got recently and I really wanted to get them all on cards before the 14th. And go me, I did it! I even think that I may have saved my favorite for last as I just love how little artist Wryn has gone all out with her Valentine decorations. That's why I paired her up with this fun sentiment from Paper Smooches, it's like she's trying to show how much love she has by the number of hearts she has painted.  ;)
And I might as well go ahead and enter this card into the 'love' challenge over on the Tiddly Inks blog right along with the rest.

Later gators!  :)

Little hearts...

Good morning!

Somebody finally went and watched Star Wars: The Force Awakens this past weekend and she loved it! After being disappointed with the majority of the prequel episodes I will admit to a renewed excitement for this amazing universe. I've already got theories and guesses about how all the new characters weave in to the larger mythos and I can't wait to find out how close any of my predictions might be. How long do we have to wait before episode 8 hits theaters?  ;)

Alrighty, enough fan-girling and on to today's card... I couldn't resist printing out this precious little sweetie from Mo's Digital Pencil called Peggy. Doesn't she make for a fun Valentine? I just adore her coy look and that round little belly. I paired her up with a cute kid quote sentiment that I think reflects Peggy's general attitude. For the rest of the card design I decided to forgo pattern paper and instead grabbed some under utilized washi tape with a few other bits and bobs that I found on my desk. :)

Well, I should get myself ready for the day. Thanks for stopping by!

My heart is happy...

TGIF my friends!

I've got another Tiddly Inks Valentine to share today, this time the sweet Grow A Little Love Wryn is the star of the show. I guess I can't get over those cute heart shaped flowers, LOL! I wish the photo showed it better but that embossed heart background adds a lot more detail to this CAS design than it shows here. I even used Copics to color a few of them which really became the only embellishment on this card... talk about simple. I'm gonna go ahead and throw this card into the current 'love' challenge over at Tiddly Inks too.

Alrighty, I've got to get ready for my trip to town. Have a great weekend everbody!  :)

Feel the love...

Hi there!

I've got a card for this week's Bellarific Challenge to share today. The theme is 'love is in the air' and I did a bit of altering to Uptown Girl Claudia has Candy to make her work for a sweet Valentine. All I had to do was wipe away her giant lollipop and replace it with the enamel heart sticker. The card was super quick to put together because everything but Claudia came from the February Simon Says kit. The pretty pastel paper with its touch of teal totally inspired the colors for Claudia's outfit as well. And even though the enamel letters are probably a bit big for a card I like the impact they have in the overall design. Clean and simple but I certainly feel the love, LOL! ;)

Thanks for stopping by!
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
paper- Crate (Hello, Love)

Enjoy today...

Hello, hello!

I'm posting over on the TGF blog today and I'm excited to be sharing new shades of Anya's Salon. If you missed the first salon post the idea is a simple one, create eight different hair color combos using six Copic markers. For this visit  to Anya's Salon Anya has decided to go red and Marie has even added a brand new Red Head Anya digi to the store just for the occasion! So if you would like to see what Anya's Salon is all about head on over to The Greeting Farm blog today and check it out.

For my card I colored up Red Head Anya using the Autumn Sunrise combo but I also wanted to give her a body. So I grabbed Flirty Anya and did a super simple head swap. Now this gorgeous ginger is ready to hit the town looking oh so stylish and ready to turn some heads, LOL!

Have a good one everybody!  :)
