Smile...

Hello there!

Sorry about the absence but I had a whirlwind of a weekend. Lots of work and lots of play so instead of stressing about getting cards done and posting I just let it be for a couple days. :)

I actually started this card last week with the intention of entering it into the TGF yellow and blue DTT challenge but I didn't quite get it done in time. So I grabbed a couple Martha Stewart butterfly punches and decided to enter it into the Farm Fresh Friday punch challenge instead. ;)
The new Lovely Bean is the star of this show and I wanted it to look like she is fluttering right a long with her butterfly pals. I think the fun cloud paper really helps with that so I was lucky to find this last little piece of it in my scrap bag. Yep, I went to town with the random mix of scraps again and it felt good to fully use up a couple more pieces. What can I say... I'm determined to whittle down the piles of paper so that I don't have to put myself on a "no new paper diet". Gasp! Shock! The horror!  I know, I know... it's blasphemous to even think about such a thing, especially with all of the new pretties previewed at CHA recently. I just have to find a bit more time to really get in the organizing/purging mode, which will hopefully happen in a week or two.

Okey dokey, I'm going to wrap this up. It's been good talkin' at'cha all again and I'll see ya in 24!

Amy I think this card is just sunshine on cardstock. :O) I love how she looks like she is in the middle of playing with all her winged friends. Truly a very sweet card. I also love the colors. Too bad you didn't get her into the color challenge. I was worried about you and your Mom when you hand't posted over the weekend, but I was going to give you until Wednesday before I bothered you to make sure all of ok. :O) Stay warm. Hugs, Lisa
