Well, my 'weekend' got cut a bit short as I've been called to fill in today at work. Luckily I was pretty darn productive yesterday and managed to get a lot crossed off the ol' to-do list. Sure it would have been nice to have today to just relax but the extra dollars in my paycheck are nice too... especially with so many great new stamps getting added to my wish list lately. ;)
My card today is for the Farm Fresh Friday challenge to use flowers on a card. I wanted to use a TGF stamp that hadn't seen ink yet and I was caught off guard by Creeper Harlow here. Not exactly the image I would have envisioned for a flower filled card but something about her made me want to stamp her up and make it work. There is something kinda techy/quirky about Harlow that gives her a very modern vibe so I wanted to play off that with my choice of papers and the fun sentiment that I put together. When it came time to add the flowers, traditional just wouldn't do so I found some silver metallic looking blooms to keep with Harlow's edgy coolness. All in all I think this came together in a fun way.
Anywho, I should get a move on.
