Don't let anyone dull your sparkle...

Hey there!

Are you ready for the third and final day of the Greeting Farm's January release previews? We are wrapping things up with super fun Decora Anya. Decora Anya was inspired by the Harajuku girls in Japan who decorate themselves with colorful girly clothes, all sorts of hair clips and cute jewelry, many of them even sport illustrated bandaids right on their noses. Personally, I find the bandaid a bit distracting so I cut it out of the stamp, creating two separate stamps... now I have the option of adding it to Decora or my other stamps wherever I want. I've even included a quick walk thru below if anyone else is interested in changing her look a bit. I like that now Anya kinda looks like a typical tot who is putting on all her pretties because more is better, LOL!  Decora Anya will be available for purchase tomorrow, the 15th along with the other new stamp sets.

To see Decora in all her bandaged glory, head on over to the TGF blog to see what my fellow Farmers have created. I will be back tomorrow for the official blog hop and a chance for some lucky individual to win the entire January release!  :)
To permanently remove the bandaid from Decora's face I used a small 1/8" hole punch to punch a hole in the open space of polymer in the center of her face. Then I carefully slipped my fine tip scissors into the hole and cut around the bandaid, being careful to avoid her smile. That simple "plastic surgery" now leaves me with two stamps, Decora and the bandaid, expanding the versatility of both. :)
