It's not death we should fear...

Hello friends!

I'm popping in on a Sunday to share a card using one of the new stamps that just dropped at 7 Kids Crafts yesterday. Their September release is full of Halloween/Day of the Dead and Fairy cuteness that I simply couldn't resist! This Dia de Los Muertos beauty called, La Catrina was the first of my new stamps to get inky. I really cut loose with all the color in her outfit and flowers as I was heavily influenced by all of the colorful costumes that popped up when I did a quick Google search. Then I masked La Catrina and used dark Distress Inks in the background for a nice contrast that would really set her off. I thought the scalloped white frame references back to her hat and fan in a very pleasing way and again adds another layer of contrast. She looks like a little jewel of light and color and I simply couldn't be happier with this card. :)

Toodles!
