Feel better soon...

Olo!

So I switched gears a bit yesterday and moved away from the bright and cheery summer themed cards to something a bit more subdued. When I sat down to craft this touching stamp from Dreamerland Crafts caught my eye. It is called, Holding You Tightly and you can almost feel that little girls warm embrace of her beloved teddy bear. To save time creating a background for these two I masked them off before printing the Room Corner background digi stamp from Sweet November Stamps right over top. Outside the window I colored in a twilight backyard in monochromatic purple hues. Inside her room pretty pastel pinks are the predominant color. I had fun adding all the little details into the decor, like the striped wallpaper and rose accents on the rug and matching curtains. The 'get well' themed sentiment that I found on my desk seemed quite appropriate and also filled the large expanse of wall quite nicely. All in all I think this came together into a simple, yet sweet card.

Toodles!  :)
