Good morning!
This weekend marked my twelve year blog-aversary as well as the twelfth anniversary since I got my first Copic markers and began my creative journey with this amazing medium. To celebrate this fun milestone I decided to do a Live coloring video over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page. The very first stamp that I colored using my brand new Copic markers all those years ago was the lovely Geisha Anya from The Greeting Farm. So what better way to see just how far I've come with my coloring skills in all that time than by inking up Geisha Anya once again. This time around I stamped her on a slimline card and after masking off her head, added the paper lanterns stamp from Hero Arts to fill the top half of the card. The biggest change between my old and new cards is definitely the colored in background scenes that I create these days... no more relying on patterned paper to help tell my stories. That's not to say that there aren't drastic improvements to my hair coloring and shading skills as well, LOL! All in all I had a wonderful time looking back and being able to appreciate this artistic journey that I've been on. Here's to another twelve years of coloring fun!
Smooches! :)
