Good morning!
This quick but cute birthday card combines one of the older Merwees from the Merwees set #2 with the puffer fish balloon stamp from the Merwee Party set that released in May. The fun pose with her hands tucked behind her back was perfect for making it look like she is ready to surprise a friend with a whole bunch of adorable balloons. Making that happen was as easy as masking her off and stamping the middle balloon before masking it as well and stamping the others on either side. Next, I masked off the other two balloons so that I could use a wave stencil and the Copic airbrush system to fill in the background quickly. I also ended up stamping the school of fish from the Mermaid Hair set before removing the masks so that it would look like some are swimming behind the merwee. Because I used a smaller die to cut out the main panel, it left me with just enough room to add a simple sentiment right on the card base, completing this sweet but simple birthday card quite nicely.
:)
