Let's Spook Up Some Fun...

Good morning!

It's September 30th and that means it is the last day of Stamptember at Simon Says Stamp. Earlier this month the super cute exclusive collaboration set with The Greeting Farm was released called, It's Spooky. I've been dying to ink up these adorable trick or treaters ever since my set arrived in the mail and I finally had the time this weekend to get them on a card. I did some masking so that all six could fit into the scene and I paired them with the long retired Home Sweet Home houses to create the neighborhood background. They all look so sweet as they await their special treats. :)

Now I know it's hard to believe but the set is still available at Simon Says but this might be the last day that they are available... I'm not 100% sure about how that works. So if you have been on the fence, don't wait too much longer, plus the free shipping at $25 offer ends today as well.

Have a good one!

Colorado Craft Company Stamptember exclusive...

Hey there!

I'm so excited to be sharing the Colorado Craft Company Stamptember exclusive set at Simon Says Stamp today. It is called Work of Art and it features two creative foxes by the artist Anita Jeram. I thought it would be fun to have the larger of the two painting a beautiful mural on a brick wall, using the floral stamp that is also included in the Work of Art set. After I had everything stamped and masked, I used the Distress Brick stencil from Honey Bee Stamps with the Copic airbrush system to add the perfect wall for these foxes to graffiti. Once the masks were removed I was able to color the rest of the scene by hand. I just love how these cute critters are doing their part to make the world a more beautiful place.  :)

Now, there are always a limited number of SSS Stamptember exclusive sets and once they sell out they are gone for good so don't wait too long to check it out in the Stamptember Collaboration section.

Toodles!

Love you snow much...

Hello friends!

I'm just popping in real quick to help spread the word that this year's TGF collaboration set created for Simon Says Stamp's STAMPtember® 2023 is now available. This adorable winter set called Warm the Heart is only available for purchase in the Simon Says Stamp Store while supplies last. There were two options available: the stamp set with coordinating outline dies or just the stamp set by itself but the option including dies has already sold out. Once these stamps sell out they will never be made again so if you are an Anya fan you won't want to hesitate too much longer. Plus, this year Simon Says also has a code for FREE SHIPPING on orders over $25 when you use the code FRSHP so you can enjoy a bit of savings compared to past years. If you are interested in watching me color this snowy scene you can find the short Reel over on Instagram.  :)

Spooky Wishes...

Hey there!

I was cleaning up my desk a bit the other day and came across this super cute little Halloween Mice set from Impronte d'Autore buried under a bunch of stuff. There was no way I could let Halloween come and go without getting one of these sweeties onto a card. When I spotted the Sweet Haunted Home set from Simon Says Stamp also on my desk I figured it would work well with the little vampire mouse. So I stamped and masked this quick and easy scene together then proceeded to color it up, saving the sky for last so I could finish it with the Copic airbrush system. The end result is fairly CAS but still pretty cute in my opinion. :)

Toodles!

It's time for Sweater Weather at SSS!

Hello again!

The Stamptember celebration is in full swing at Simon Says Stamp and tonight the collaboration with The Greeting Farm finally goes live! This super cute set is called Sweater Weather and it features a new Anya all decked out for the cooler fall weather and carrying a stylish tote bag. There are also plenty of fun accessory images to help with your scene building, such as a to-go cup for her PSL, some falling leaves, the pumpkin tower, a cat and mouse who are also sporting sweaters and a couple of sentiments. If you love this set as much as I do, don't wait too long before adding it to your Simon Says Stamp cart. It will only be sold there and while supplies last... which in most cases isn't very long. Most of the collaborations have been selling out in less than 24 hours and once they are gone they will not be restocked.

Once you've placed your order and secured a set for yourself, be sure to head on over to the TGF blog to see what my fellow Farmers have created using the adorable Sweater Weather set too. :)

Oh Humbug...

Hey there!

Back in October I made a card using the Snarky Cat Halloween stamps from Tim Holtz. These bug-eyed kitties that he does totally win me over with their crazy cuteness and slightly twisted sense of humor. So when Simon Says Stamp did a Christmas collaboration set for Stamptember, I had to get it. For my card today I masked this grumpy cat onto the present and added the bird to his tail before coloring in the toppled Christmas tree in the background. Now I'm not saying he is responsible for this Christmas catastrophe but if he is, he sure doesn't appear to be sorry about it, LOL! I also had fun coloring scratch marks into the wrapping paper on the present. Apparently someone is getting impatient for Christmas morning to arrive. Because I had so much going on below I was at a bit of a loss for what to do in the top half of the card. Every color or background idea just felt like a distraction, so in the end I went CAS and left it the clean, bright white of the card stock.  :)

Well thanks so much for stopping by and have a lovely Wednesday!
