Good morning!
I wanted to make a card for this week's Kraftin' Kimmie Saturday challenge using "fall colors". I know I have plenty of KK Halloween cuties still waiting to make it on a card but when I started to flip through my binder of KK stamps it wasn't a Halloween image that caught my eye. Instead I saw this Purrr-fect Princess all cozied up with her kitty and I was inspired to make them work for a fun Halloween card. Everything was going well, I was nearly done coloring them in dark fall colors when my E89 decided to misbehave and bloop out a big splotch of ink on the right side of the chair back. I was so frustrated and thought for sure I would have to abandon my original plan and fussy cut her out instead. Then my sister had a genius idea that I turn the splotch into the mouth of a ghost creepin' up behind her. Now I can't imagine the scene without him, LOL!
Alrighty, off to work I go... talk at'cha later! :)

Happy Halloween...
TGIF my friends!
I'm wrapping up this week with a card for today's Free Form Bellarific Friday challenge. I inked up Tiny Townie Patricia Loves Pumpkins and totally borrowed the Copic color combo for those gorgeous white pumpkins, or spooks as we call them in my family, from the uber talented Alice Wertz. I love how this simple change from traditional orange pumpkins really alters the entire feel of this card with a pretty elegance. I also grabbed the Set of Pumpkins and Little Bits Haunted House Outdoor Decor set to complete this riff on the Little Miss Muffet nursery rhyme.
Alrighty folks, have a fab weekend! :)

What's brewin'...
Olo!
I'm heading to the big city early this morning so this post will have to be kept short and sweet. This darling witch is called Befanina and she is from Impronte d'Autore. The movement in the image had me immediately envisioning her riding across a moonlit sky at top speed, heading to the Monster Mash party. By simply using a circle die cut around her I had the perfect moon to light the way. Then all I needed was a great starry sky paper to complete the scene for this CAS Halloween card.
Ok, I'm outta here for a fun day on the town... laters! :)
Supply list:
cardstock- Papertrey Ink
paper- Pebbles (Boo)
stamps- Impronte d'Autore (Befanina), Paper Smooches (sentiment)

My Favorite Things circle stax die

Happy Meow-lloween...
Hello, hello!
I'm here today kicking off my second month as a guest designer for Whimsy Stamps. Because I'm currently all about Halloween cards I thought it would be fun to do a twist on this cute Tommy and Cleo stamp and make it work for the holiday. As sweet as Tommy is as a boy I figured that by simply coloring on a headband and adding a paper flower to it, Tommy could become a sweet baby witch getting to know her black cat familiar. I added a couple of pumpkins in for good measure to complete the cozy scene. Then I found this pretty floral paper and added some extra flowers to tie back to the one I added to her hair. Now I've got a pretty little Halloween card using an unexpected stamp, which I love. :)
Thanks for dropping by!
Supply list:
cardstock- Copic X-Press It and Bazzill

Hocus Pocus...
Hello!
I'm here again with my weekly 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store card creation. For my card today I wanted to make one of the tiny Gorjuss Girls work on a Halloween card. I finally settled on Gorjuss No. 12 On Top of the World because with a bit of masking I could easily sit her on this large pumpkin from the Stamping Bella Haunted House Outdoor Decor set. Then with the help of a couple old Halloween stamps from my stash and an ink sponged sky I had a not-too-spooky scene for my card that I was quite happy with. :)
Alrighty, there is still another week to play along in the September 'anything goes' challenge so head on over to the 7 Kids blog and join the fun! New holiday stamps and goodies are hitting the shelves every day and that $30 gift certificate prize could really help to fill a shopping cart!

Happy Halloween...
Good morning!
I always look forward to the arrival of October and jumping into Halloween cards with both feet. So to kick things off this year I've made a fun and colorful card featuring the little trick or treater dressed up as a spider from the Roberto's Rascals Creepy Crawlies set. I paired her up with a cool spiderweb die and a couple crazy spider enamel dots from Doodlebug. Those spying eyes behind the web are also from the Doodlebug Booville collection. Put it all together and I've got a cute CAS Halloween card that is too sweet to be spooky. ;)
Toodles!

You at my side...
TGIF!
Since this is the last day I will be posting before jumping into Halloween cards next week I knew I wanted to get this cutie on a card. These two walkin' buddies from Mo's Digital Pencil are called Corgi and Bess and I paired them up with the Happy Home set from Sunny Studio Stamps to set the scene. Now they are ready to take a stroll through the neighborhood together, enjoying a beautiful fall afternoon. I'm hoping to do a bit of the same thing today as it looks like we have a perfect fall weekend ahead of us. Hopefully it's just as nice in your neck of the woods. :)
Have a great one my friends!
