Never stop dreaming...

Hello and good morning!

It's hard to believe that we are in the last week of June already and that means it's the end of my Month of Mermaids challenge. Even though the official month may be ending that doesn't mean there won't be more flippered friends showing up here on the ol' blog now and then, I guarantee that. ;)
Anywho... today's card features the gorgeous new Serena Sparkles from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. I look forward to their mermaid release every year and I've yet to be disappointed. Serena originally comes with a much wider grin on her beautiful face but once I decided to use the dreaming sentiment I decided to do a small alteration to her mouth so that she would look more wistful and dreamy. Then I went for a traditional Ariel color scheme with her red hair and aqua hued tail because Ariel was always a dreamer. I'm also going to throw this in to the Wonderful Wednesday 'anything goes' challenge and try my luck there.

Thanks for stopping by!  :)

As always I love your mermaids and creative alterations! Did you see that Christy Croll at Tiddly Inks created adorable 'Amy and her mini mermaids' in digi form?? Your cute mermaid alterations from your post a few days ago were the inspiration I'm sure!

I am so enjoying the mermaids, you have made a wonderful collection of cards. This one is my granddaughters favourite as she is totally into Arial at the moment. She said to tell you 'she is so pretty' and 'loves her hair'.that's praise from my three year old granddaughter.
