Spring Birthday...

Hey there!

It's a review weekend at Sweet November Stamps and we are officially kicking off our Fae-bruary celebration. We've got some extra fairy themed challenges running on both Instagram and in the Friends of Sweet November Stamps Facebook group this month that you will definitely want to check out. And to add to the enchantment there will be a new fairy digi added to the store each Monday this month, accompanied by a special Live coloring session over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page.

My card today is a postage collage using the Enchanted Spring Flowers clear set and the sentiment is a sneak peek of a new set that will be released in a couple of weeks. If you are interested in watching it all come together there is a quick reel over on Instagram, which will be followed up with a longer speed coloring video on the Sweet November Stamps YouTube channel

Let love grow...

Hello friends!

I'm up on the Blogabella for another Scenic Saturday and I've inked up the sweet Bundle Girl with Rose. As she marches along with her large stem of roses it's not just beautiful blooms that she brings but all her love as well. Which makes her perfect for a card with a subtle Valentine's Day vibe.

I stamped Bundle Girl with Rose low on the card front and I colored in the expansive sky to fill two thirds of the space. By keeping Bundle Girl and the landscape confined to the bottom third of the card this creates a ratio of space that is pleasing to the eye. The soft cream and pinks of Bundle Girl and her rose stand out against the atmospheric landscape pulling focus right to her. I stamped the sentiment from the Garden Sentiment set in the upper right corner, opposite Bundle Girl, using a pink ink to compliment the flower and add some more balance to the overall design. As a finishing touch I added a trio of die cut butterflies fluttering around the sentiment for just a bit of whimsy.

Stay crafty my friends!
