Happy St. Patrick's Day...

TGIF my friends!

The February Sweet November Stamps newsletter mailed out last night, a little later than usual, but we wanted to be able to include all four of the Fae-bruary Fairy digis that were released this month. Along with all of the enchanting fairies there is also plenty of inspiration from our amazing design team featuring all of the new stamp sets from the Fab Favorites clear release that dropped this month as well. So much good stuff was added to the store and 2025 has only just begun... I have a feeling that there is going to be a lot more to get excited about this year. As always, we closed out the newsletter with a free digi for all newsletter subscribers and if you were a fan of the peeking characters this past Christmas then you are sure to love the new Leprechaun Peekers. This trio of lucky leprechauns have found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, with a little help from that four leaf clover. I hope you enjoy bringing a bit o' Irish charm to your card making with these cuties as our thanks to all of our fantastic friends of Sweet November.

Have a great weekend!

Showers of happiness...

Hi friends!

This adorable Spring Shower stamp was part of the Chilliezgraphy by Pei Summer Fun collection at Purple Onion Designs and I have been waiting and waiting for Spring to roll back around so I could finally get it on a card. Now, I know it's still February and I may be jumping the gun just a bit but with a mix of sun and rain the snow has been melting away and I am ready for some real Spring weather. This cheery bear is like a ray of sunshine in his yellow rain slicker and matching umbrella and he's certainly brightening the day of that poor little kitty who got caught in the downpour. A soft and hazy background where I kept all of my coloring on a slight diagonal helps to complete the look of rain gusting in around these two friends. The perfect sentiment that I used is part of the Friendly Warm Wishes Sentiment set.  :)

Toodles!

Make a wish...

Hello again!

This past Monday saw the release of our fourth and final Fae-bruary Fairy digi at Sweet November Stamps. We ended the enchanting celebration with a cute fairy tot named Delilah. Along with each release I also do a Live coloring of the new image over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page. I paired spunky little Delilah with a daisy from the Rose and Gerbera Daisy set to give her something pretty to be looking at. As the color suggestions started coming in from my fellow crafters Delilah quickly started going in a rather dark direction, which sparked the idea that perhaps she is a moth fairy who only comes out at night. This lead to the dark and dusky landscape that I then colored in behind her. I really love the drama of the push and pull between all of the dark blacks and blues with that white daisy, sooo pretty! If you are interested in watching everything come together you can check out the replay here. So be sure to check out Delilah and there are still a few days left to play along in the Sweet November Fae-bruary challenges.  ;)

Have a good one!

May your day be filled with magic...

Hello there!

Today we are wrapping up the latest Ohuhu coloring video series over on the Sweet November Stamps YouTube channel. The last five weeks have been breaking down the coloring of this beautiful Galentine Fairy Thandie digi using the Ohuhu Honolulu set of markers. I played with a dark skin tone combo and some pretty pastels for the hair, wings and her dress, perfect combos for those upcoming Spring themed cards. And now that all of the videos are out, I can finally share the completed card here on the ol' blog. Fairy Thandie is so fun and sassy and I printed her out pretty big so that the focus would be on her. Other than the dirt ground that I colored in beneath her feet using the Ohuhus, the rest of the background had to be done using my Copic markers because the Ohuhus don't fit into the Copic airbrush system that I used to create it. To complete the card I added a sprinkling of cute enamel shapes, like the little ladybug down on the ground, which just adds to the playfulness of this card. Well, I hope you are continuing to enjoy these Ohuhu video series and I will be back with a new series next week.  :)

Toodles!

Always read me...

Good morning!

I've got another card to share that was colored up Live over on the Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page during the Fab Favorites release weekend celebration at Sweet November Stamps. We ended the weekend with this cozy scene featuring Libby from the SN Gals Libby and Laura set. And because she is quite the book lover I paired her with the new Simple Room: Reading Nook Background Builder set and made sure she had a furry friend to keep her company too. It's funny how the color suggestions for the furniture took us into a kind of vintage/retro vibe and I love that we totally ran with it, even giving Libby a bit of a back story of visiting thrift markets and up-cycling her finds. The carpet texture was added using a stamp from the Simple Room: Christmas Add-on set because she totally needed some shag carpeting to go with the rest of the decor, LOL! It's definitely not a bad place to while away a rainy day in. ;)

Hope your week is off to a great start!

More than friends...

Hey, hey!

So, yesterday during my Live coloring on the Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page I went back to my scrap booking roots with a card that is quite different from my usual scene coloring. I've had this idea dancing around in my brain to pair up some of the cute girls from the new Postage Pals: Landscape and Postage Pals: Portrait sets with this Polaroid shaped die that I have in my stash, making them look like a bunch of snapshots. Then taking the photo idea a little further, I wanted the rest of the card to look like a page right out of a little girl's scrap book. So I pulled together some designer paper and fun embellishments, including the washi tape that I pulled all of our Copic colors from. Once the coloring was all done, we spent the last half hour putting together our scrap book inspired card, keeping things loose and playful so the whole thing has a very youthful vibe to it. I'm really glad I changed it up and made this idea happen because it turned out super cute!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Spring Birthday...

Hello there!

It's a review day at Sweet November Stamps and the team and I are happily playing with more of the new Fab Favorites clear release. I've been anxiously awaiting the completion of the Flower Fairies of the Month collection so that I can start having fun mixing and matching them on various cards. This is my first go and I've stamped February Iris Fairy, April Daisy Fairy, October Marigold Fairy and September Morning Glory Fairy onto a larger A6 sized postage collage die from Waffle Flower crafts. For the smallest panel I also borrowed a ladybug from Fairwee Readers set. The large panel at the bottom of the card was the perfect home for a sentiment that I put together using the new Birthdays are the Best set. The coloring and stamping of the Year Round Post Marks can be scene on the quick Instagram reel and Tee will be getting a longer speed coloring version up on the Sweet November Stamps YouTube channel shortly. And don't forget that I will be coloring  Live this morning at 11am PST over on the Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page.  :)

Thanks for stopping by!
