Hello again!
I've got another Purple Onion Designs card to share, this time using another darling critter from the new Tofu and Friends Spring is in the Air collection. This is Sweet Bunny and she has been busy filling her basket full of ripe and juicy strawberries. It's so cute how the basket is nearly as big as she is. I jumped over to the Lakewood collection and borrowed the Field Background to help set the scene and as I colored it all up I thought it would be pretty to limit the color palette to cream, red and pink with just a shot of green for contrast. The sentiment is from the Summer Days Sentiment set, which is getting a real work out on all of these cards I've been making. Once I had the scene glued to the card base it still felt like it needed something, so I pulled out a jar of little white paper flowers that I thought looked like strawberry blossoms and strategically placed them around the scene. This design trick is called a visual triangle and it helps lead the viewers eye across the card in a pleasing manner. This is definitely a sweet card for a sweet friend. :)
Have a good one!
