Hey, hey!
I recently got my goodies from the Christmas Cheer release at Hello Bluebird and I couldn't wait to play with the new Santa Postage die. I really like that it includes an extra large 'stamp' for the focal point. The sweet little reindeer from the Christmas Tree Farm set was the perfect fit for that large stamp so I built the card around her, adding the trees and snowflakes as well. The small sign was borrowed from the Perfect Tree set to fill the last 'stamp'. Since Hello Bluebird doesn't have a postage stamp set, I used a handful of Postage Collage sets from Waffle Flower to add the postage and cancellation marks once the scenes were all colored in soft pinks and greens. The only strong color that I used was the red of the scarf and I used a matching ink when stamping the sentiment from the Christmas Wishes set. That, plus the addition of the red enamel hearts, creates a nice balance throughout the design of the card. :)
Thanks for stopping by!
