Hello Spring...

TGIF!

When I pulled out the Bunnies and Robin set from Colorado Craft Company last week, I also spotted the Tiny Birds Worm set and had an idea to combine the two. The extra bird stamp in the Bunnies and Robin set was perfect to become a mama bird to these little ones. I even added the worm from the Tiny Birds Worm set to her beak. For the extra branches in the upper corner I repeatedly stamped the branch with the nest, minus the nest. With the smaller space on this die cut, that was all I needed to complete this charming spring scene.

Have a great weekend!

Hoppy Spring...

Olo!

I've inked up this tree from the Bunnies and Robin set from Colorado Craft Company a few times already but I've always altered it a bit, either adding or subtracting characters. So when it came time to make a card yesterday, I figured it was finally time to use this sweet scene as-is. Three baby bunnies are looking up at the bird in the branches of a flowering tree. I colored their flying friend into a bluebird for this spring scene and surrounded them all with lots of greenery. The sentiment was borrowed from the Happy Easter set and I stamped it at the bottom of the scene.

Stay crafty my friends!

I love you a choco-lot...

Hey, hey!

It was another busy day yesterday, with not a lot of time for getting crafty. So when I finally got a chance to sit down at my desk I needed something quick to color. I went to my binder of cute Anita Jeram critters from Colorado Craft Company and found these two mice stealing a chocolate bonbon. They are from the Life Happens set that was a Stamptember exclusive at Simon Says Stamp and I knew they would be perfect for a quick Valentine. Because I was short on time I masked them off and did a simple airbrush background that matches the scrap of pattern paper that I found for the card front. In need of a cute finishing touch, I pulled out these enamel shapes that look like chocolate candies... perfection!  ;)
